I tried the Lucid Clear on my iPhone XS Max and it's one of the better ones out there, as clear cases go...Because like the Apple clear case, it's polycarbonate plastic all the way around...So it's more durable and won't yellow as fast as the cheap TPU based cases you will find out there. I did at the time compare it to my friends XR clear case from apple. They felt about the same but the buttons on the Apple case were really tough to press...where as the buttons on the Lucid are exposed...The problem I found with it and the Apple case, is, it's just slippery in the hand to me. So I use their Sheath instead...not clear but a much better grip.

I purchased the Apple clear case just to have a clear case when I get the phone. Not sure if I'll keep it as there are better clear options out there...But I want to wait to see reviews, to make sure they actually fit the new phones correctly and see about the quality...

I actually like exposed buttons, but as long as the buttons are tactile, it’s fine. I heard that Apple improved the buttons.

Yeah, first feel of the Apple Clear case is it’s very slippery. How about the Caudabe Lucid?

Does anyone have official tracking e-mail from Apple? I'm anxiously awaiting mine to get the presign delivery button so I can print it out and sign before I leave tomorrow!

You probably won't get anything from Apple until Wednesday at the earliest...Apple is pretty conservative so they don't send out their official emails until the phones hits Alaska and are on their way to Louisville usually. Which is funny since you can track it doing it's thing through Asia and then on it's way to Alaska days before...lol

Yea in no way was that cheap I bet haha. They get me for so much money every time even though we have the annual pass. Good place to keep your nerves of waiting for your new phone down though. And of course to keep your mind off the crappy hurricane.

Definitely. They have generators in the whole resort so they never lose power either. Wife and kids had a ball, I almost cried when I saw the bill!

Same feel on both...slippery to me. I think it's one of those things you just need to slap it on the phone and live with it for a week or two. A lot of people will put on a case, and within seconds decide it's bad...Everyone is different though so what I don't like about it, you may like...

2:55PM arrival scan here.

I want the employee responsible for scanning my phone’s pallet fired as a form of compensation from Apple. I need my phone to move every few hours to stay entertained and excited about my guaranteed launch date and will not have anything less than exciting week tracking a new scan / step every few hours.

Apple.. if you’re reading this.. I suggest you fire him now or I’m going to be calling the BBB over this!

/sarcasm

I keep saying it's my phone, but i'm picking up my iPhone on Friday. My wife's iPhone is in China still.

Although if she doesn't like it I might opt for the small one.

Anyone in 9/27-10/1 see movement?!

Nope I do not think we are gonna ship for 20th. Even though I got my order in early, had done preapproval (not sure what good that did me this year LOL) I was stuck with this date also. One year I got stuck with late October even with early logging in (at 2 AM CDT that year) with usual problems of getting in after first minute... But after the first two weeks got shipped mine moved up by two weeks. And folks in second week got them earlier than the first estimated date. So I have some hope we might see ours in the Monday to Thursday before the 27th given these past experiences...

You’re my mini me haha. The sad thing is we aren’t far off of the target with what some people on this board think that they are entitled to be compensated for due to attempting to justify their ridiculous impatience and need for instant gratification.

It’s been over 72 hours since I placed my order. I finally received tracking information and my phone is moving. Apple, UPS, and the Chinese and Korean governments are all ignoring my calls to provide me with background checks and drug tests of everyone handling my phone as well as maintenance records of the fork lifts and airplanes. As I said yesterday my phone better be in the middle of a roll of bubble wrap sitting in the cockpit with the captain under heavy guard and supervision. I will ask my phone upon it’s arrival to my house if this was the case. If not I am going to sue. I will be compensated for my ridiculous anxiety and demands because I am John Smith and I will not be denied! I must have what I want when I want it or I must be heavily compensated! The US military better provide armed escorts for the plane. I want a whole squadron protecting the plane that has my phone. I want the UPS trucks and vans to have a full motorcade with armed guards. I will not be denied my phone at 8am on Friday. If it isn’t here by 8am I am going to call UPS and Apple and will insist on a full refund for my phone for having to wait. I deserve compensation because I am me! God forbid the phone doesn’t arrive within the estimated window or if something causes it to be delayed until Saturday or Monday. If that happens I deserve and am ENTITLED to a full refund for the agony of having to wait. I can not survive without that phone in hand at 8am on Friday. I just read the confirmation email for my second phone. Delivery is estimated on September 27th. I have already called my lawyer and the president. I can not possibly wait that long for a new phone. The XS Max I have will not cut it when a new phone is available. I should receive the second phone for free and a refund for the first because I will have to wait a whole week for the second phone. I will be compensated for my juvenile impatience! I am John Smith and I will not be denied my life or death need for instant gratification. Apple and UPS will rue the day... THEY WILL RUE IT !!!

Thanks for the humor as a preapproval, login with in 10 minutes but getting second week delivery person love a bit of humor for our “terrible” first world problems. LOL

I have a product red iPhone 11 on preorder for pickup this Friday but now I’m thinking I might want the iPhone 11 Pro in Midnight Green.

My question is do you think I’d be able to switch it that day given they have enough stock at my store?
