9/17 is when the exception occurred (it's the 17th over there) but if your date still says 9/20 its all good.

Thanks for the info!! I forgot all about the time/date difference. It did show an arrival scan in Korea, so I wonder if it's clearing customs.

Mine isn't showing a tracking number on Apple's site, but if you have the UPS app, it will tell you when you have a package coming- that's how I saw mine before Apple even updates. Hope this helps someone.

I remember from last year’s thread once they posted our invoices to the Apple Store we could lookup our serial numbers to find our manufacturing date, do you remember about when that occurred? I thought it was around the time they hit Alaska if I’m not mistaken.

The real problem is nobody knows if they were first, in the middle or last...When you have thousands, if not millions of orders flooding in, at the same time...who knows the order in which Apple gets them...That's why seconds...in this case, literally mean the difference between getting it on launch day or sometime after...
Agree as long as it is a few minutes, but a full hour shouldn't beat an order that far before it. Most of the time it is just that the customer didn't realize it wasn't the same exact make and model for the same carrier. Every little difference has a different shipping timeframe.

Would be very interesting to see how Apple tracks exact order placement and what spot your in.

For those who have departures scans out of China or elsewhere, what was your arrival scan at ZhengZhou? I’m a 2:55er... no departure yet.

Got into the store after 5 minutes, ordered one minute later. iPhone 11 Pro 256GB Midnight Green with T-Mobile sim. Still showing processing with a delivery date Sept 27 - Oct 1. That's some BS that you order that quickly after the store finally comes up for you and can't even get it on launch day. I just hope if it shows up in October that there's not some BS next year with my iPhone Upgrade Program saying I can't upgrade yet. That happened last year because the stupid iPhone X came out in like November or something and I had to pay extra. Not a great way to treat loyal customers who upgrade yearly.

That sounds like the exact same time they arrived last year of I remember correctly. They have this down to the minute though I bet.
