EDIT: And its FedEx, not UPS. Apple hasn't used FedEx since iPhone 8/Plus/X for preorders.

silver and space gray goes with any case imo. i just want my phone and watch to match despite having matching cases and watch bands. once i see the space gray in person Friday i’ll make the decision. besides either color i choose i’m only keeping the phone for a year anyways 😀

I can't remember if it was last year??? my phone came in on another freight carrier, but it was a UPS shipment. You just reminded me of it.

I believe you’ll see the flights on flightaware whether they are extra flights or not. My past phones have left as late as Wednesday night/Thursday and still get to me on time Friday. I think UPS does an amazing job - they improve each year too.

I just sent mine to a UPS store instead of selecting CC. It’s closer to my house and I don’t mind waiting till 11am.

I seem to recall past launches where people said that having it sent to a UPS store (rather than a CC) made it impossible to pick up on launch day. Can't recall why, something like it would be delivered there after store hours. Do some research before committing to this...you may not be a happy camper on Friday.

It can cause it to wind up not showing up until the end of the day. That happened to me on the iPhone 6 launch, but that was a LONG time ago (5 years, wow!)
