My iPhone 11 Pro Max 512GB (Midnight Green) appears to have left China and is in South Korea. I'm assuming since there is an hour time difference, the list is out-of-whack (chronologically speaking)...

So it looks like there are two main groups the 2:55pm and 5:55pm 9/16. I saw someone with a 5:55pm has Korea departure. Based on UPs 99, plane should have already hit Alaska and on way to KY right now. Is everyone assuming the 2:55 group that I’m in is on that as well or perhaps caught and earlier flight?

For 2:55ers. There was a Polar Air Cargo flight that left Korea 5min before the UPS99 that I am assuming a 5:55er is on. Perhaps us 2:55ers are on that Polar Air Cargo and there is no tracking updates for us because maybe UPS chartered them.

I also saw a bunch of Cargolux flights leaving CGO for Anchorage via layover. Perhaps UPS chartered other cargo plane companies to get the phones to Alaska. Neither Polar Air Cargo or Cargolux have flight scheduled going to Louisville thought.

But, assuming UPS has a ton of planes going back and forth between Alaska and Louisville, why have the chartered CargoLux or Polar Air Cargo fly all the way back to Asia from Louisville. I’m assuming us 2:55ers are on chartered flights to Alaska where UPS will then take over to get us to Louisville. Maybe once we get on a UPS flight again our tracking will update.

Question! so my pre-order is still showing "preparing for shipment", but I was able to find my tracking info on the UPS website and it is showing as shipped. Is that normal?.

The reason I ask is that I ordered through the apple store and selected Verizon because that's my carrier, but then I received an email saying "here is a copy of your ATT Next installment" I do not have ATT, but Verizon. I noticed a lot of people had this happened to them and their orders got canceled. I'm hoping this doesn't happen to me, so I don't know if I'm already on the safe side or if there is still a chance it could be cancel still.

Any ideas?

Yes, apple will show preparing to ship until it actually arrives in Louisville KY, then once UPS puts it on its final flight to your local hub, it will switch to shipped. They are conservative with updating...

Oh this kills my theory about chartered flights I just wrote!! I'm a 2:55er also and mine hasn't updated to show this yet. They are way behind!!!

I just changed my delivery to be picked up at my local CC and now it says “Exception”. Has this happened to anyone else?

That's normal. What happens now is that when your shipments goes to your UPC CC and they scan your tracking, it shows that you requested the hold for pick up, what it will do is then pull those aside and therefore you can pick those up.

My tracking shows the same. I think it took a teleport back to Zhengzhou. Actually it's sitting in Incheon, South Korea. I know last year it set in Korea for couple of days before it started moving.
