Apple Store app says the Lumen will arrive Sep 19-Sep 26. No estimate on the UPS side of things yet; just "label created." I ordered it the same day as the keynote.

Cool I have the same estimate with order processing still. Ordered sep 11 a little after noon.

One of mine is in that 27th-oct 1st group also. No movement. I had a 30th-oct 2nd turn to October 1st though.

I don’t see any ICN bound flights out of CGO recently though.

Yes, got my order in after 8 minutes of trying to get in and thats my date also. I do not expect to see much movement on our phones til maybe this weekend given other years experiences. Sad, I am skimming through the usual angst about which plane since our phones have yet to be done/given to UPS in China. I keep hoping otherwise but do not think this year (for first time in many) I am not making opening day fun. I also preferred the guaranteed one day delivery. Now we are spread over the following Friday to next Tuesday after. It is harder planning ahead for when we actually get delivery I am retired but my wife and daughter rely on me for driving and or picking up kids at school. This is a pain for me and they dont get my obsession LOL

Trust me I understand the obsession.
I haven’t missed launch day since the iPhone 6S.

Availability shown on there right now is for orders. Generally they do have limited walk in stock but you need to get there early.

I remember the only time I "camped out" for launch day. It was for the iPhone 3G. That's when they had inventory levels for each retail store posted on their website. I had to drive up to Manhattan Beach at 04:00 to get in line before they opened at 08:00. There were 200 phones available and I was somewhere around 190th. The Apple employees would provide coffee for us while we waited. It was a unique and smooth experience. From then on, I simply ordered online.

Maybe it’s a charter flight or direct to Anchorage. I remember a couple direct flights last year

Almost none of the flights properly track. Chinese airspace doesn’t have a lot of coverage.

Im a 2:55'er here. From what I remember from last year, I was on one of the later planes out of china, and it didn't start moving until Wednesday afternoon. My phone even made it to DFW at 4am Friday, and still made the 3 hour drive west, so I could pick it up from the hub at 8.

At least you guys get tracking updates... those of us who chose in-store pickup just get to stare at "Processing" until Friday and have to hope that our phone actually gets to the store in time for the 8am pickup

Our next status update is "Check in today" and then "Ready for pickup"!
