It’s still amazing to me the logistics of how all this works. I really still even have no concern that UPS and Apple got this down to a science. They have yet to fail me and been doing this like 7 years.

For the most part I agree. One year, though, UPS messed up somehow (can't remember if it was the 7?) and had to deliver launch day phones on a Saturday.

mine said tenative before I switched it to pick up. When I switched to pickup it said it would be available 9/20 still. Every single preorder I’ve ever done (this is my 6th) it’s always said tenative. I think it’s just ups covering their arses in case something happens with customs or a storm or something else out of their control.



pretty sure everyone’s does. Mine does. Heard it goes away after the next scan though. Not sure. I know when I switch mine to my local CC Ait said available for pickup 9/20. Took a screenshot and if they tell me other wise when I pick it up I plan on showing it to them. It’s the same hub where the phone will be put onto a truck anyways.

I remember this too, those that stayed in ZZ a little longer went directly to ANC.

but i just went to ups and tracked by reference using my order number minus last two digits, AND IT SAYS DELIVERY 9/20

Well we left at 3:20 so if we are going to Korea we should see that here soon. If not we must be going to Anchorage

Mine says exception after I did that

I changed mine for pick up at CC on Sunday and it said exception until a couple of hours ago when it changed to “in transit”.

I am holding out hope though. last year all the UPS updates came through late on the Wednesday before so I am hoping this is the same scenario and they are already en route to the US.

Doesn’t explain why my watch doesn’t even have a tracking number yet. That is super concerning, being 3 days out. And from what I’m seeing, this isn’t a common trend.
