On IUP. 13th payment on XS Max is scheduled for 21st but loan says “On Hold”. 11 Pro Max is arriving tomorrow. Does this mean I will not be charged the payment on the 21st? Does anyone have experience with this from previous years and know if I can avoid this payment and just ship the XS back as planned?

Yep, that's normal. It just means you won't be making a payment for the phone you're about to trade in. My XS Loan shows the same thing. I believe as part of the upgrade process it was mentioned that your payments will be put on pause when your new device ships.

I just changed mine to be held at the CC since it is two miles from my office. How long until the tracking page shows the change?
Did you call UPS or did it online. I tried online it does not show UPS CC although there is one within a mile.
 
Its amazing how behind the UPS tracking must be. According to them, my phone is still in ZZ. I suppose it could still be there and get to NC tomorrow, but I do think at this point the tracking is just not up to date.
 
Anyone order from BestBuy and get a status? My order doesn't say if it's shipped or not. The order says it's suppose to arrive by Friday 9/20.

However, I also have a notification from Fedex that something is coming by Monday 9/23. This is just based on my address (I'm signed up with Fedex for this). It shipped from California and is in NM right now. I have no idea if that's the iPhone or something else I ordered (or someone in my family).

Anyone order from BestBuy and get tracking info?

They process these by the pallets if I remember right - I think the overall pallet tracking number typically triggers the other scans but this year it looks like it's a little different.

I'm not too worried about it. From experience it all happens very fast today and suddenly the phone will be out for delivery tomorrow morning.

This is Apple's preorder thread, I don't know much about Best Buy.
 
Last year if I remember correctly UPS had some method on their site of tracking the trucks, and I remember all day seeing the truck continue to get closer, and then driver off in the other direction. Not sure if they are going to do that again as I wouldn't put it past some members of this forum literally chasing down their UPS drivers lol.
 
i called yesterday to get my phone/package held at UPS CC and i'm getting conflicting info on tracking so not sure what i do..?

one screen shows the exception and that i'll pick it up at CC but when i click into tracking details, it says it'll get delivered end of day to my house and i just got a text message from UPS saying the same...so do I go to CC or wait at home tomorrow?!

maybe UPS system is just messed up and it'll all correct itself later? lol

Exception means anything other than the original delivery.
Go to the Customer Counter.
Check with your local customer counter on hours - some don't open till 4pm or later for pickups!
