So I have in-store pickup at 10am. How does that work is it a fast easy process or do they try and drag you through install and stuff? I assume seperated too so I won't have to wait in a line?

Peace out KY! Departure time tells me its highly probable it on a truck to my regional hub in ATL.

True story. Mine missed the flight two years ago, and UPS upgraded mine and I got Saturday delivery.

I can never remember the years... but I remember there was something that happened and customers got Saturday delivery! So I know you are telling the truth!!

I know that all deliveries in our area have been held up from time-to-time at our local hub if there is an issue with the truck breaking down, accident, etc... or they'll have the trucks leav and another truck meeting up with them on their route to give them that trucks packages.

There will be a line for appointment and a line for walk up customers. They won't force you to set it up they ask if you want it but a simple no and your on your way.

The following quote is from https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204136 :

"Activity, Health, and Keychain data (To back up this content, you'll need to use Encrypted Backup in iTunes.)"

I read this as meaning that you should use an encrypted itunes backup for this type of information.
From the same page:
iCloud backups include nearly all data and settings stored on your device. iCloud backups don't include:
  • Data that's already stored in iCloud, like Contacts, Calendars, Notes, iCloud Photos, iMessages, Voice Memos, text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages, and Health data*
So Health data is already backed up to iCloud in iOS 12 or newer.

And from iMore:
What iCloud syncs from your Health repository
  • Health data (heart rate information, sleep tracking, step counts, elevation, etc)
  • Sources and connected devices
  • Medical ID
  • Activity Rings
  • Workouts
  • Stand Hours
  • Activity achievements

So if you have the health toggle on in iCloud settings, your data is already in iCloud and will be synced to the new device automatically.

My UPS store is about a mile from my home and it always changes the delivery date to the day after when I first make the request but then it changes it back to the original date of delivery once the package reaches my local distribution center or is scanned onto a truck. I don't know if that is the case with everyone, and it likely depends on whether the UPS store you select is served by the same distribution center as your home, but I've never had an issue.
Just got off phone with UPS and they said while it could still get delivered to UPS Store tomorrow that there is no guarantee that it will. SO I don't want to take that chance, but the representative did give me a time frame of 11:30-3:30 for my home delivery, instead of "Delivers By End Of Day". So I will just wait for it at home. If I wanted I could take off of work and pick up at my CC which is open from 9-10:30 AM.

My departure scan was 1:10 PM EST a flight from Louisville to my hub is about an hour. So with no arrival scan yet I'm guessing its being transported via ground.

I have picked up every year they had it. It takes 5 min, tell them you don’t want to activate you will do it later and they scan it and ur on ur way. 2 line, one for walk ins and one for pickup. Get there at 9:59 and ur good. My store doesn’t have lines cause the last couple launches have been Slow and I am in a small town. Big city might be different but still u get in at 10

This is good news. No way am I restoring from a backup. I have way too many apps that I don't even know what they are, let alone still use. This is my chance to finally be free! :)

I feel like the dot in the dot race that is winning the whole time and trips right before the end. I think I was always the furthest along of any tracking I saw, but now I've stumbled in Louisville.
