Just my 11 pro 256 Gb midnight green is in that stage

My Apple Watch series 5 Nike edition is not in that stage I hope it gets to that stage the second Monday before October 4.
I too ordered the Nike edition. Always wanted one but wasn't ever patient enough. I think the extra watch faces will be worth the wait.

Seeing all this movement on iPhones being shipped to the customer makes me realize how boring it is to reserve one for in store pickup.

My order is just sitting there, and will remain there, until it’s time to check in.

I’d rather track the flight of the plane carrying my iPhone.

Very true. I'll be tracking mine and pick it up at UPS Friday morning at 8 am, then I'll head to the nearby Apple Store to check out the vibe. I'll probably restore the new device from iCloud while I'm there because their wifi is usually very fast even when a ton of people are using it.

I've had every single iPhone (well not really, I didn't have a 7 or 8) and I have always restored from the old phone. I have decided to set this one up as a new device. Am I making a mistake?

Question please. My son ordered the new phone. He is traveling on Monday for a week. He got a delivery date on the 20th. I wont be home on Friday. If he has it on hold at the hub, will I be able to pick it up for him on Friday? Or he must be the one signing for it?
Depends. Usually if you have the same address listed on the package should be fine. I had no issues picking up my wife’s package at the UPS CC showing my ID with the same address.

No, not at all. Many people prefer to start fresh. Restoring from back has worked very well for me the last few years, and I haven't missed going through all of the extra setup to get my new device settings and layout similar to the old. When I did restore as new, I found that I pretty much set everything up like I did the old device including downloading the same apps. Restoring as new does give you a fresh start without any potential issues being transferred over, and you can determine whether you need so many apps and whether you old settings still make sense.

I like the ease and convenience of restoring from backup because I don't change much from before. I haven't run into any issues yet from using a backup, but if I see problems, I can always wipe it and start out fresh.

I am in Preparing to ship and only the Apple Care + was charged. Not the phone.
As I said, it won't get charged to your card until the phone ships. AppleCare+ is not the phone, is it? And you are in the Preparing to Ship stage, not the Shipped stage. Once it ships, you will be charged for the phone.

My label was just created about 10 minutes ago. Ordered at 05:07 Sept 13, Pro 256gb space grey unlocked. Initially had a delivery date of Sept 23 and now it's Sept 20. I did not order the watch, so this is definitely the iPhone Pro.

I had this happen to me when I got the X. I was with T-mobile but then switched to Verizon. I had to pick it up at Apple store and they had the T-mobile phone for me. When I explained the situation had to go to another store to get the Verizon phone since they didnt have it. So just tell them if they give you the wrong phone.

So for what it’s worth, my order just got cancelled. As it went preparing to ship, they verify with the carrier again, and since my line was cancelled, they cancelled my Apple order. Thank god my local Apple Store had availability for pickup in a larger storage. I had to place a new order signing up for the upgrade program under another line on my account. Annoying because that person will never be able to do the upgrade program as long as I do, but we will cross that bridge another time.

My wife has picked up things for me before at the hub. They do question her but she just shows her id and they see the same last name and the same address. Have your son sign a note authorizing you to pick it up and try. If you live at the same address, have the same last name and plus the note, I think they'll give it to you.
I would also take a picture of his ID to show them. It will prove the same address and last name.

Is anyone else having issues making a My Choice for a business? It stops at the question about when i want to arrange pickups. It says to check the information and try again.

Curious for anyone who has done pickup in the past, has the date ever slipped? Im amazed my Apple store had availability for pickup for the model and size I wanted. I got my order, confirmed, still says good for pickup Friday during my time slot. Seems like it was the last one because when I go back to pretend to order another one it isn’t available. I’m just nervous my order is going to change to a later pickup date.

You could go back 10 seconds later to pretend order, and it might still be sold out. 10 or 15 seconds is an eternity on Apple launch day.

The closer we get to Monday the less chances you have of order dates getting bumped.

If they don’t make it in these UPS planes then you’re likely missing launch date.

Why get nervous? Even if the worst case scenario occurs they will make sure you get one within a few days. You will get your phone. You won’t have a situation where they deny you a phone.
