Mine shows Order in progress and the amount is still not debited from my credit card account. I am worried if my order is fine.

I’m in the same boat. But there is no reason to worry they are still in the starting phase of this. One the phones get on Ups planes it goes quick

Mine took about a few hours for it to go into pending status. I think it was the status where you're able to cancel your order was when I saw the pending charge on my card.
So I have ups my choice, I’ve had it for years and I’ve had packages shipped to two different addresses. One being my father’s house since I am almost always away from home and he can sign and has signed for my deliveries before. My questions is, he’s moved and I’ve added his new home address which is the address I used for my preorder (09/13 - 7:04ish, 11 pro 64gb space gray) and it’s been stuck on “preparing to ship” for almost 36hrs now. I’ve set the new mailing address to default in my choice, but when I check on manage home deliveries the only addresses that I have an option of choosing from is my home address and my father’s previous home address. I have been searching for about an hour now on how to delete the old addresses and leave the new one since it’s my new default shipping address. I’m not sure if this affects the shipping reference information or if my shipping label just hasn't been created yet. Can anyone shed some light?

You sure are. Mine gets the same error but I have UPS My Choice I get an email and push notification when it’s showing up

stop worrying!!!! your phone/watch might already be state-side and just not scanned yet.
i've done these preorders for years and one year mine didn't get scanned until a couple days before launch/delivery day and it was b/c it was already sitting at the KY UPS distribution center. additionally, when I did the iPhone X launch...my phone (and a bunch of others) went on a tour of Asia due to typhoons (literally went from China to Japan to Korea to Taiwan two days before launch). then when it finally got state-side, there was a flight delay from KY > IAD due to weather on launch day and my phone didn't get to my local UPS distribution center until after they loaded trucks. i guess they held the truck or something but i still got my phone delivered to me on launch day. that was by far one of the most impressive deliveries for launch day i have experienced especially due to the tour of Asia + delays out of KY.
Everyone is worried about their UPS status. For those of us with Apple Store pick up we get no movement until Friday when it's ready for pick up.
I remember the X and the typhoon. Mine went sightseeing too
This means so much to UPS they do whatever to get them there. They sent trucks out late just to get iPhones delivered because they didn’t get to the hub until like 9am
I have an in store pickup for 20th at 8:30am and the taxes were just charged. I think I seen someone asking about this earlier.

Ok, I ordered storepickup for the first time this year so I guess I’ll stop checking until Friday! LOL
Seriously, I wouldn't worry until Mon/Tues. I have had many a iPhone in the past few years not be on the "first" plane out. It all works out in the end as those that make it to the states first are just put on hold status anyway. Yours will ship either tonight or by tomorrow night and still deliver in plenty of time by Friday.
Not on preorders, you can't, maybe in store. If you want to do a trade in as part of a preorder, you have to pay in full or select Apple or carrier financing.
And now mine has shown up! In China ha going out with all of yalls phones!
