I'm not sure you can. I ordered one phone with a trade in and the only options were to pay in full or do the iPhone financing which is DIFFERENT than IUP. Of course, you could pay off that phone in 12 months instead of 24 and then be eligible to upgrade, but it won't be the IUP program.
I will probably re-purchase the phone under IUP and use the upgrade money on a future purchase.

You can join IUP and do a trade in. You pay normally and when they get the trade in it’s credited as IUP payments

Nevermind I see now it’s for iPhone payments I thought I saw somewhere it was for IUP as well

What’s your delivery date? My card isn’t charged either, and I’m still in progress, but I’m 9/27-10/1.

i've done these preorders for years and one year mine didn't get scanned until a couple days before launch/delivery day and it was b/c it was already sitting at the KY UPS distribution center. additionally, when I did the iPhone X launch...my phone (and a bunch of others) went on a tour of Asia due to typhoons (literally went from China to Japan to Korea to Taiwan two days before launch). then when it finally got state-side, there was a flight delay from KY > IAD due to weather on launch day and my phone didn't get to my local UPS distribution center until after they loaded trucks. i guess they held the truck or something but i still got my phone delivered to me on launch day. that was by far one of the most impressive deliveries for launch day i have experienced especially due to the tour of Asia + delays out of KY.

Thank you for the input! But I want to track my phone from China! I ordered a watch and an iPhone! I hope my label gets scanned it! I just want the tracking #

This is accurate cuz it's what messed me up. I was trying to do the iUP but ended up mistakenly signing up for the apple financing because I didn't know that the iUP option disappeared when you selected having a trade-in

right but do you leave the letter in the beginning of the order number?
 
Both of my iPhone orders now showing up in UPS My Choice along with the Series 5 watch.
Didn’t have to search by reference or anything, automatically showed up in the UPS app.

Yep my X was on that flight also a fun time was had by all LOL

This year I am on the few minutes after opening got me on the September 27-October 1 delivery time LOL always a new adventure hoping it gets here before 27th ;-)

Thank you! I was wondering that. All my previous orders have been delivered at my house but since I’m traveling on Friday had to choose pick up in store instead.

It all works out in the end as those that make it to the states first are just put on hold status anyway. Yours will ship either tonight or by tomorrow night and still deliver in plenty of time by Friday.
