Really? I had a 6s Plus and put it in my shirt pocket, or front left pants pocket on the rare occasion my shirt didn't have a pocket. When I got the X, I had to downgrade the size. It's now two years old and I wanted to upgrade to the 11 Pro, but after seeing my girlfriend's new 11 Pro Max, I think I'll have to get a Max, too, because having a larger screen is really great.
That’s not a bad idea, because in all likelihood as soon as you spend a few minutes with the Pro Max you are going to think you will want the Pro. I got my 6 Plus on launch date. I remember that Friday night thinking how absurd the size was and what a mistake I had made. My Friday night plan was to go to the Apple Store first thing Monday morning and exchange it for the 6. By Monday, I was in love with the Plus and already had gotten used to its massive size. The point is, you aren’t going to make a decision in a couple minutes, a few hours or even a day. It takes some time to adjust to the size, but once you do (if you do) you never want to go back to a smaller screen.

For things like this, this is where is it best to take advantage of the manufactures return window, to test the device.
I went from an iPhone XS Max, to a Note 10+, and now to an iPhone 11 Pro Max. For me, I simply prefer the larger devices.
Albeit, I will add, when the iPhone X was released, I felt it was the perfect size. Till the following year when Apple said, "Wait, there's one more thing..." 🙂
