I feel like iPhone 11 will still be a big seller for Apple, considering the difference in price to the regular iPhone 12 and the lack of big features to differentiate them for the everyday consumer.

For my part, I think the iPhone 11 or the Xr for that matter more that enough for another 2 years.

I prefer rounded edges on the device (even if I also love the old-is-new design), I see no real-world value in MagSafe (even if it's cool) today, I Qi charge my device overnight on a $15 stand, I have a suction cup dash stand that grips the phone hard (in the event of an accident), the old cameras are more than enough for my needs, 5G is not fully baked as an infrastructure, and I really don't go swimming with my phone.

But the only real concern with the new iPhone is OLED burn-in. After 2 years my Note 8 display sucks.

Other than that, if someone is coming from a much older device or coming to iPhone for the first time this is a great time to jump in. Especially if you cycle devices every year or two.

I’m more and more likely to go mini. I wish their website allowed me to see all color combinations for case and wallet.

No mention of the higher screen resolution and higher dpi on the iPhone 12 over the iPhone 11? Maybe I missed that in the article.

Is it just me or are there no pictures of the Pro in Pacific Blue that are well lit? Every picture seems to be in low light or half obscured by shadow.

I’m still using an iPhone 7 Plus. I use my phone all the time (way too much). It still does everything I want it to do, but I was considering upgrading anyway. It’s pretty disappointing they don’t include the power adapter in the box. Yeah, I have a bunch of power adapters, but I don’t have any usb-c adapters. I’m going to pass on the new phone this year out of principle.

what’s wrong with the cable and adaptor you are using at the moment?

One of my friends was going to get the violet iPhone 12! Does not exist! She is so disappointed! LOL!:D

" In spite of its merits, 5G is only worth it if have an eligible data plan and are in an area with 5G coverage"

^^^maybe - but this year's phones are using the Qualcomm modems with LTE going up to 2 Gbps with 4x4 MIMO

Speedtest is reporting that the regular boring LTE is twice as fast on the new iPhone 12 (as opposed to the iPhone 11) and when you find 5g somewhere is very fast.

So there is some merit if you choose the 5g models.

I am still using an iphone 6. Yes a 6, not a 6s. I only upgrade my phone every 5 years saves a lot of money and My iphone 6 still goes good. Love the 12 and I will most likely get the iphone 12 pro, 512 gb.
I should be good for another 5 years then.

I am still using a iPhone 6S+. I am going to upgrade to a iPhone 12 Pro Max. I am contemplating going with the upgrade program.
