Only 8 iPhone 12 articles? You said what you could have said in one article but you split it up into 8 articles.
Why? You could have had 50 or 100 or even more articles. Of cause any more than 1 article about the same information is absurd but since you like taking things to absurd levels, you should see the sky as the limit.

8 is more than the sensible 1 and nowhere near the at least 20 you could have done with a little more effort.

It's really time to bump things up to USB-C for the port.

Unecessary. MagSafe charging is clearly being set up as the replacement. Qi charging is universal across Android and iOS devices, more and more widespread in hotels and coffee shops and iPhone 12‘s wireless charging has been bumped up to 15W, three times faster than the power cubes that iPhones have always shipped with.

Let me get this straight:

- they removed USB A charger because "customers already own it" and they wanna save the planet
- then they proceed to ship the phone with a USB C cable.

???
The logic there makes perfect sense. /s ;)

Is there information about what the Magsafe cost?
Edit:

$39
MagSafe Charger

This was a little weird to me. They get rid of the USB A cable, but most iPhone users have more USB A iPhone charging cubes then have USB C charging cubes.
Apple: "We care about the environment and the billions of cables and chargers out there."

Also Apple: "Everything is USB-C now so you're gonna have to replace that cable and charger you already have."

That's not weird, it's the whole point - forcing many of their customers to buy an additional USB C charger, while being able to claim sweet sweet green eco cred at the same time.

The 11 Pro came with an 18W USB-C power adapter.

"What's in the box?!"

Well...you don't have to replace it. You can use the ones you already have.

Honestly not fussed about this at all - be surprised if anyone who's been on this site a while doesn't have a ton of lightning cables. And do people really use them nowadays - in the office/home, I use only wireless chargers / wifi sync - I still use a cable in the car mainly due to not having wireless Carplay, but I don;t remember the last time I took an iPhone out of the box and didn't leave the charger in it. (Likewise with the earpods, I've never been impressed with them).

Good move IMO.

Talking about the environment, what is the reason behind still selling iPhone XR? Has it ever happened that Apple kept on selling the same iPhone model for two years after it had been replaced (by iPhone 11 and now iPhone 12)?

Plus, my USB C charging cube from my iPhone 11 broke. Just stopped working. So now i don't even have a charging cube.

I highly doubt that this is solely for environment. Lots of old USB A Adapters will go waste. And why the hell apple is still sticking to lightning on only iPhone? If they cared about the environment, they would have started usb C to usb C across all products.

But people will probably be buying the chargers seperately so are they really improving the environment?
Yes, because I imagine the number of people that actually need another charger would be miniscule. I'm surprised people even still use dedicated single-use chargers (I've always used Anker multi-USB chargers for all my USb devices - my bottom drawer is full of iPhone/iPad/Kindle etc chargers that have never been used).

I'll take "Externalities" for $500, Alex

Chargers do wear out and no longer work though. I've had to throw a few of the Chargers away over the years. Having a multiple Charger unit does seem enticing though, and it will take out a lot of these unnecessary cords.
