Only 8 iPhone 12 articles? You said what you could have said in one article but you split it up into 8 articles.
Which is why they should have kept the USB-C adapter for another year or two. This was a little weird to me. They get rid of the USB A cable, but most iPhone users have more USB A iPhone charging cubes then have USB C charging cubes.
It's really time to bump things up to USB-C for the port.
The logic there makes perfect sense. /sLet me get this straight:
- they removed USB A charger because "customers already own it" and they wanna save the planet
- then they proceed to ship the phone with a USB C cable.
???
£20 price cut in the UK, was £419, now £399

Unecessary. MagSafe charging is clearly being set up as the replacement. Qi charging is universal across Android and iOS devices, more and more widespread in hotels and coffee shops and iPhone 12‘s wireless charging has been bumped up to 15W, three times faster than the power cubes that iPhones have always shipped with.
At least it's £19 for a 20W charger rather than £19 for a 5W chargerAnd then you pay £20 for the new charger and you're back to £419...

Apple: "We care about the environment and the billions of cables and chargers out there."
Also Apple: "Everything is USB-C now so you're gonna have to replace that cable and charger you already have."

The 11 Pro came with an 18W USB-C power adapter.Unecessary. MagSafe charging is clearly being set up as the replacement. Well...you don't have to replace it. You can use the ones you already have.Apple: "We care about the environment and the billions of cables and chargers out there."

Plus, my USB C charging cube from my iPhone 11 broke. Just stopped working. So now i don't even have a charging cube. This was a little weird to me. They get rid of the USB A cable, but most iPhone users have more USB A iPhone charging cubes then have USB C charging cubes.

Yes, because I imagine the number of people that actually need another charger would be miniscule. I'm surprised people even still use dedicated single-use chargers (I've always used Anker multi-USB chargers for all my USb devices - my bottom drawer is full of iPhone/iPad/Kindle etc chargers that have never been used). But people will probably be buying the chargers seperately so are they really improving the environment?
