Is it worth the $300 upgrade to sell 11Pro and buy 13Mini?

It is relative. It is a small percentage out of the total number of iPhones, but by the number units sold it is still way over a lot other phones that are considered popular. iPhones do sell in the millions.
The mini iPhone market is still there, the mini die-hards won't upgrade their current Minis until a new one is available.

Don’t know if you’ve decided, but I have a 13 mini for last 6 months and just picked up 11pro used.

Loves of 11pro:

- I love the telephoto and really wish the mini had it.
- I love the stainless steel of the 11 pro.
- I love the little bit longer battery life
- I love the wider screen and easier to hold phone and type more accurately.
- I love the screen (for whatever reason the mini I have doesn’t seem to refresh as fast and I can’t read fast scrolling text as well on it.)
- more pleasant to hold in hand with rounded edges.

Loves of mini:
- size and weight
- camera is noticeably better, (but ONLY noticeable if you are perceptive of minor color, lighting, quality variations.)
- that being said, the night mode is very noticeably better on 13mini

That’s it :)

I love finally rocking an 11pro and now don’t have to feel like I’ll miss out on this awesome device.

BONUS: the live wallpapers of 11pro (the waves) are amazing. I never knew these were an option 🫣 I will very much miss these when the 11pro one day goes away.

IMO the 11 Pro was perfect besides the Intel modem, and that's a non-issue for most people. Great size, phenomenal battery life, awesome camera, etc. If your 11 Pro still has decent life left in the battery, I'd hold onto it TBH (realizing this thread is a couple of months old :)). The 13 mini is great, don't get me wrong. But the 11 Pro was, again IMO, the best of all worlds.

I haven't jumped ship! I thought about it for a while, and I think you all are right. It really is a great package.

I had an 11 pro for 2 years, then got a 13 mini last fall. I am glad I did. I was happy with the 11 pro, but I wanted something a little smaller. It isn’t a lot smaller, but it is much better for carrying in your pocket. I got used to the smaller screen very quickly. You can still take portrait photos, it’s just computational rather than using the telephoto lens, but they look the same if not better to me.
Also, I don’t have 5G near me, so I turned it off. The battery life is the same on my mini as it was on my 11 pro.
If you want a smaller phone I would say do it.
I’m on a prepaid plan and it doesn’t support 5G, so I am in a similar situation as you. LTE is more than enough for me, right now, so I can’t see it being worth losing the battery life, anyway.

LTE of the iPhone 11pro is so much easier on battery. And the internet modem really is pretty good and solid. No issues with connection or speed on Verizon.
