Is anyone else getting concerned that the Apple website isn’t showing the 12 series leather cases off yet? I know the initial word was 11/6, but the Apple page still has placeholders for the 12 pro max silicone cases and simply marks them as coming soon. Any concern they’re having some issues with the leather and we may not see them next week?

I'm definitely interested ... meanwhile my Silicon case is far more pleasant to use than the last generation design of iPhones. I could be happy with it for the next year.

Seems like a lot of things are delayed this year.

Yea and of course there’s that layer too. I’m just surprised there’s no entry on the Apple website at all even if it says coming soon. Was hoping to get a preview of color options. Not sure if I should just assume they’ll be the same as the wallet color options. It all just makes me wonder so I thought I’d put it out there...

I can't wait for them. I usually get Sena cases but this year I wanted to see what Apple offers first. :) Agreed.

Yes, I was thinking something similar, last week. Normally, I purchase an Apple leather case, along with an URBN ARMY GEAR case.

This year, I might just stick with the latter only. For the past year, I have noticed that I have stuck with one case, the majority of the time..

I flip between a few but Apple leather has been in my rotation since I bought the iPhone 6 on launch day. I’ve never tried a third party leather case, but if Apple can’t get it to work right maybe I consider Nomad or Bullstrap.

I really hope they adopt the closed bottom like the silicone cases do. Do we have any reason to believe they won't have the closed bottom? (I vastly prefer this over the open bottom, but I know others have different preferences..)

They are definitely coming. These are the colors from what I've been able to find out: Saddle Brown, Black, Baltic Blue, California Poppy and (PRODUCT)RED.
I assumed this to be the case all along. Comes in all of the colors which the MagSafe wallet comes plus product red.

According to the screenshot of the event presentation:

I reckon it will be closed bottom this time.
Compare it to last year's back (screenshot taken from apple.com):

I hope the leather cases are released soon. My blue Apple silicon care is terrible. It is already peeling at one of the edges and this is a week of very light usage.

You should also be concerned about no price being listed either. I'd expect at least a $10 increase, but something tells me it will be even more.

There's clearly a problem with the leather cases. It's been documented that the magsafe charger will leave a ring around leather cases. This has to be why there's a delay.

The fact that Apple didn't have these ready for the iPhone 12 says there's an issue. That's a lot of lost revenue considering the high markup on these accessories.

I wasn’t wowed by this set of color options. I know there are more in the future but I think (emphasis on think) I’m getting the pacific blue 12 pro max and I don’t think black will work with it so I was thinking the blue leather. Has anyone tried the bullstrap cases? Their ocean blue color looks great on the website. How does their leather compare to apples? I don’t want it to be too thick either.

Beltic blue leather case? interesting....Since I'll pick up a blue 12 pro max might as well match with the case.

I think they have an issue with the leather cases. Why would they wait until the 6th to release leather cases for the 12, 12 pro and 12 pro max. Surely they could have released the leather cases for the 12 and 12 pro already.

I’m also a fan of apple’s leather cases. Don’t really like silicone. Are there good quality alternatives out there while we wait for apple? don’t really care for Magsafe so not a deal breaker if it doesn’t have that

I usually get the black, red and blue Apple leather cases, but I HATE that frame around the camera this year so I’m thinking about trying Bullstrap. They won’t be ready until late November I think I read.

Yea that’s what they told me when I asked their customer service. Late November/early December. The ocean blue leather I keep seeing online looks amazing though...

Man, my results are the opposite. One wanted leather, but the blue silicone is really doing it for me

Bullstrap look like good cases. I always get the Apple Leather cases, so I wonder how Bullstrap compares?

I'm told they will be $59 each.
