I had two orders this morning. Was able to get the 128 Pacific Blue Pro Max about 15 minutes after the site went live. But then about 2 hours later I remembered my 10% veterans discount! D'oh! Tried to order another one, but ship date had been pushed out two weeks. Ended up ordering a 128 Silver Pro Max (with discount) for next Friday. Figured for $110 savings, I could live with silver!! Cancelled the first one a few hours later. The silver is still "processing" at this time.

I mean, the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro are already out. Don’t get the point of holding them until Friday. These are just different sizes, aside from some camera improvements on the Max.

I was on as the store opened and ordered my iPhone Upgrade Program 12 Pro Max and then separately did my wife’s 12 Mini and they’re both preparing to ship. Maybe I should have ordered the HomePod Mini first? It’s still processing and doesn’t ship until November 17-19.

I ordered a 512GB Pacific Blue iPhone 12 Pro Max for AT&T on apple.com right went the site went live. Also a Baltic Blue Leather case. Both are showing Preparing for Shipment. I also received my AT&T Installment agreement via email too. 👍🏼

I’m excited to finally be getting my new iPhones. After pre-registering instead of pre-ordering last time, because the models I wanted were not available last month, this has been a chaotic launch for me personally. 😂

One thing we can all be sure of, iPhone 12 Pro Max is the best iPhone Apple has ever made.

if i preorder/pickup through any wireless carriers would i be able to get it by friday when they launch iphone 12 mini and pro max?
 
That's how my iPhone 12 was, but you never get it early. My iPhone 12 was just sitting at local warehouse for 2 days with no movement, until day of delivery.
it is a bit different in this situation because the big unveil happened when the 12 and 12 Pro shipped, so its not like 12 Pro's aren't on in the wild now, so it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't hold them back until the 13th.

Yes. However, it really depends on your carrier, as they all have slightly different methods of release times. Most carriers will let you know what their schedule is on release day.

I got super excited when I saw this on FedEx, but I think its just my cases. What I find odd though is I order two cases on the same order and they are shipping them seperate or is one my phone...hmmm

Don't want to crush you guys' hope but here comes the reality. I dont believe there is any early delivery given past experience. Apple makes special instructions with the Carrier to not deliver until Friday even though the package arrives at your local postal office.

Ordered a Pacific Blue Pro Max 512MB directly through AT&T a little before 5am PST and mine’s showing a “preparing to ship” status with the 11/13 delivery date. I don’t recall an AT&T iPhone order ever zipping through fulfillment this quickly. I wonder if Apple took the extra time to bank additional inventory ahead of anticipated Covid slowdowns.
 
The 12s and 12 Pros are out, do these really need to wait till Friday to arrive. I'm traveling next weekend. Would be great if these shipped early.

Apple makes the UPS hold them until the official launch day date. If Apple allowed such in the middle of a new launch, it would create a lot of needless drama and customer staffing problems for Apple to deal with.
