iPhone 12, Mini, and Max Size Comparison: All iPhone Models Side by Side

Agreed. Coming from an iPhone 8 Plus, I am really hesitating b/w the 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max.
The 8+ has 5.5 inches vs 6.1 for the 12 but I have been used to and like the 16:9 aspect ratio of the 8+. The 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max have a 19.5:9 ratio.

Any thoughts?

If you are happy carrying Plus size, then go for the Pro Max. You will then have similar width display, but taller

Iphone 12 mini is the perfect size for me.

It surely looks like perfection. Bigger than the SE 1st gen, where there was room for that one to be a bit bigger than it was, while being smaller than the 6/7/8/SE 2nd gen that has a sense of being oversized for the screen? That's my idea of perfect.

Not to mention the dream weight of 133 grams. For reference in grams (I left out the Plus and Max models as there's no comparison to those):

The same weight as the early iPhones and slightly lighter than a 7. What Apple has been able to achieve is incredible and harks back to the early advancements in weight. The regular 12 at 162 is part of that. It's a return to form for Apple.

Really Really Really peeved that I need to get a Max to get the best camera. What I really want is a mini with the Pro Max camera. Make the battery a little smaller, it's a compromise I'm willing to live with. (and I'm sure others are too)

The best camera is the one you have with you, and I'd rather not have that giant slab on me. I'd much prefer something that easily fits in any pocket.

I am in the same boat want the 12 Pro NOT THE MAX never had a large phone, but sensor-shift, may be worth it?

Coming from an X and thinking about purchasing a 12 Pro Max, yesterday I made a mockup of the Max out of wood, and carried it around for a few hours as if it were my phone.

Came to the conclusion it was much too unwieldy compared to my X. And instead will be ordering a 12 Pro (which is similar to my X) tomorrow.

that's depressing I too wanted the "best camera" I use the 12Pro. Is it really huge in the hand? looking for printable templates... I suck at using a tape measure...

Pro Max for me please.... Have XS Max now. Looks like the 12 Pro Max is only very slightly bigger. Which is fine.

I've never owned a large phone, 12Pro now... is it "huge", does it stick up way too far out of the back pocket? How is it for shooting photos?
