But the outside of the phone is smaller than the 4.7" iPhone 6If it hasn’t been mentioned already, I would like to the record to note that 5.4” is definitely not ’mini’.
Relative to other iPhones currently available, yes it is. Relative to the overall size of the majority of smartphones currently on the market, yes it is.If it hasn’t been mentioned already, I would like to the record to note that 5.4” is definitely not ’mini’.
How do you know that. I have put all the numbers I could think of (phones, order with or without all the digits) in the UPS tracking box and I get nothing! Not a big deal, but I am wondering how people know. I'm in Canada if that matters. The shipment left the first facility in China today(11/10)!
Look up UPS track by reference number in Google. There’s a couple websites after all the UPS actual ones and then put in your phone number. It’s limited on the details available but i saw it left China and then left Anchorage Alaska, which is the normal plane voyage to get to the US mainland. After that it hasn’t popped up where it is.How do you know that. I have put all the numbers I could think of (phones, order with or without all the digits) in the UPS tracking box and I get nothing! I see mine has shipped. It’s about to travel from Louisville, Ky
I bought a spigen clear case, 12 $. Had one for my 6s before. Not bulky. Are people keeping their minis naked or are they buying a case? I would like to save the $50-$60 but then I have to be extra careful with it. The case makes it chunkier/uglier.
If you get a case it should be MagSafe compatible?I bought a spigen clear case, 12 $. Had one for my 6s before. Not bulky.
I won't be using the magsafe thingies (not now anyway), but I think the ad mentionned something to that effect. If you get a case it should be MagSafe compatible?
Has it arrived yet?Just ordered my 12 Pro Max at Best Buy at noon today.
Yeah, I joined the iPhone upgrade program back in April 2019 and had to jump through hoops since I didn't have a AT&T consumer account.
Because of the timing, I couldn't upgrade to iPhone 11 Pro when it was released. This time I again had issues due to my wireless service. I decided to just pay off my XR (the payoff amount was less than the trade-in value) and just buy my iPhone 12 Pro Max directly. So no more iPhone upgrade program for me.
In retrospect, it seems like it wasn't worth it. With the trade in value of my old iPhone, I could probably of upgraded to a new phone whenever I wanted to.
The need for an existing account with one of the major 4 (3 now) wireless carriers makes me think that maybe they are giving Apple a kickback.
It's an unlocked phone that I am buying through Apple. Why do I need a particular wireless service and account?
Lesson learned.
I've never understood why the US requires you to have a phone plan to buy a phone. Here in Australia I can go to any electronics retailer including Apple Stores to buy unlocked iPhones.
In the U.S. it isn’t required to have a phone plan in order to buy a phone from Apple. The carriers require it because they want to get you as a customer so, they often create these supposed great deals to lure people in and then keep them for 24 months or more if they can.
