iPhone 12 mini iPhone 12 mini - Perfect Size

For me, I find the 5.4” screen the perfect size. Since there will be no mini iPhone 14, I have been examining my options. My wife has the X with 5.7” screen and that seems big so the 14 at 6.1” will be way too big. Not to mention that unless you go pro or max, some features will not be updated, a15 chip for instance. I know the 13 mini isn’t much of an upgrade from the 12 but I’m thinking of waiting until the iPhone 14’s are out and by then, the 13 prices will come down and I’m thinking that’s my best options.

Perfect is relative to everyone. I would suggest you start looking at the regular Pro size as your baseline given the rumors (as you stated) of the impeding death of the Mini.

i am in the same boat, i got the 13 mini and very happy with it. next year i think i am going to get the iphone 14 pro (not the max) i really hope they bring back the mini in the future.

I had the Iphone 7 and then went to the Xs Max. My last two has been the 12 Pro and 13 Pro, but now the weight is really bothering me. Doesn't feel comfortable in my jeans pockets or jacket. Recently I have been carrying my older Iphone 7 when I don't want the bulk. Just checked out the 13 Mini and decided to go for the next Mini, but sadly discovered the rumors about it being dropped from the product line. I wouldn't mind a slightly larger screen than my current 7, but prefer the rounded form factor over the new flat sides.

Just buy off Apple's refurbished store for the next few generations if you don't care about the latest tech. At this point its mostly camera upgrades anyway.

I think its the perfect size but not the perfect screen size
When i use my 13 Mini for watching video content, its a bit small!
I think regular 13 or 13 Pro its sightly more convenient
I might switch for Pro models (or regular) when Mini will be gone, there are no other options

The Mini is the perfect phone size but Apple's insistence on tailoring their UI for much bigger screens is detrimental to the device. I can read texts on the Mini just fine but I have to strain a lot and ultimately, it's really not worth it. Also that taller notch is very annoying for certain videos. I had to go back to my XS at 5.8".

I’m very happy with the 13 mini. Glad I got one before the size is discontinued. I do feel the 13 mini is a significant enough step above the 12 mini to justify the extra cost as well.
