I have the Apple black leather case and screen protector right now for my gold iPhone 12 PM.
My plan is to get a dbrand black skin just for the back with Apple logo cutout (so that gold rails stand out!) and slim clear case to occasionally go with it.

Why are people going Pitaka Air over MagEZ?

I realize that the Air is 0.2mm thinner which is equal to 2 sheets of paper and 7g lighter, but is it something you actually feel or notice?

Different Aramid Fiber may feel different in hand and I have read that the Air is less fingerprint prone.

Either have more rounded edges or more rubbery feel?

I may just go EZ as it works with Pitaka's MagEZ mount for use in the car, but I'm not driving too much right now working from home, so not really a deal breaker.

I have both in my cart waiting to see what type of discount they run Black Friday.

I used the Evutec Karbon Value case on my iPhone 11 which I really liked and that is supposed to be 0.7mm thick so in between the Air at 0.65mm and MagEZ at 0.85mm.

I have a Zagg screen protector and the Apple Baltic Blue leather case on my phone. The leather case hugs the phone and looks good. My only concern is reports of the MagSafe ring showing on the case after charging for a few weeks. So far the case looks great, no sign of the MagSafe ring or the leather changing color from natural hand oils.
Overall I love the combination. I have used the Apple leather case since IPhone X.

I’m thinking with the beauty of this pacific blue color I’m just going to rock a screen protector and go naked. I’m admiringly a little scared but I just hate the thought of covering this phone up. Do you agree or disagree and why?
Get a clear case, I’ve got one on mine. You’re going to be really sorry when you drop your $1300 phone and it gets dented or even scratched.

Hello everyone. I would ask You who have Apple Silicone Case or Leather Case, how well does it protect the phone? And will it scratch it like I’ve read somewhere in an other thread the phone when you take it out like Apple Clear Case did? Just asking, was a bit long time I had iPhone (since 2015, then iPhone 5S - still have it ).

The clear case from Apple is totally overpriced and of low quality. Just get a cheap clear case for 10 bucks at any phone store. I got one with „anti yellow“ and if something does eventually happen, they exchange it for free

I have yet to find a clear TPU case that does not yellow over time, including Totallee. They all do so either buy cheap ones that you can just dispose of and use another one or go with someone like Totallee who will replace it and you just pay for shipping.

Totallee has a 2-year warranty:

What is covered under your 2-year warranty?
Almost everything, and we mean it. If anything happens to your totallee product we’ll send you a free replacement – just pay shipping. It's as simple as that. Warranty claims are limited to one per product ordered.

How is the Peel Soft Clear compared to the Totallee soft clear? Totallee has been the thinnest TPU case I have used in the past.

I don’t know yet. I’m waiting for my cases to arrive. I have the Totallee clear case on my XS Max and I loved it. Even though I had other cases, it was the one I kept returning to and it looked like I didn’t use a case when I actually did.

Almost 2 weeks later and I’m hesitant to not use a case. I have AppleCare+ but don’t have and want to spend time getting the screen or phone replaced. The life of a mail carrier and I don’t know my off days ahead of time. On my last off day at work, I went case less for 24 hours and there were too many instances where I almost dropped my phone. It’s too slippery for me to use without a case hence why I’ve ordered Peel and Totallee clear cases to mimic the look of no case but offer some sort of protection.

Have never met a clear case that looks nice.

They aren’t supposed to look nice. They are supposed to protect your phone while not getting in the way of it’s color or design. that’s what I always use on my iPhone. They are like $10 on Amazon. Sturdy enough to save the phone from drops but light enough that it doesn’t add much weight at all, and it’s clear.

i have the peel soft clear case and i can tell you while the case feels good and very thin the buttons are covered and at least on mine are very stiff to press which is a deal breaker for me. been using the caudebe black sheath for my 12 PM have the caudebe lucid clear coming in the mail. when im at my house or small outings i go caseless though

Using Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear. Had the same case on my 11PM. I usually go careless in the winter and then use it during the summer when I'm more active, but since it's so new I'm just going to leave it on for a bit.

Right, you make my point. They dont look right because the are too glossy. They show massive amounts of fingerprints. And, for me drop protection is not a requirement. So, I still have not met a clear case I like.

Im going mostly naked, but ordered a black leather apple case for when the situation calls for some extra protection.

Went with the top end Otterbox Defender and Zagg Glass Elite Visionguard+ tempered glass screen protector. Having owned many Defender cases for different phone models, this version is by far the least bulky. The rear of the case protects the camera module and there is no rocking when the Pro Max is on its back.
