Jokes aside, I believe this workaround is better than no protection at all, especially if it is meant to be temporary. Just be careful when you put your iPhone down, I believe your camera bump will be thicker than the case itself, especially given the lid is not there anymore

If you had to do surgery on the case, I wouldn't say it fits.

I'd say it fits on a temporary basis while the intended case arrives.

For this reason with not even definitely know if I was getting a new 14 pro max I ordered a cheap built in screen protector case n accessories so would have it all before get a phone and last minute have to buy everything
