This happens almost every single time, so we can probably assume it is just a part of Apple’s launch show to build up the hype. At least nowadays not so many people are willing to camp/queue by the Apple Stores the day before the launch, so I guess there is some progress. 😋

Stock is down this morning. There is no correlation between iPhone sales and the stock price. Stocks are a perception thing.
I don’t think the case itself has magnets but it is Mag safe compatible meaning that the actual charger will charge your phone through the case

Glad I live on the east coast and didn't have to get up early to preorder. Woke up at 7:45am, placed my order when the store went live at 8:02am and secured my 128GB 12 Pro in Pacific Blue. I was going to wait for the Pro Max but with the flat sides I don't think it'll be comfortable in the hand and I already love the 6.1" screen size on my 11.
Not about upgrading plan at all. Most people didn't upgrade when the 11 came out.
People are sold on a new refreshing design and features.

I used to like Otter way back in the day. But as phones got tougher, I went thinner. But they do make a great case. Still have a friend who will use nothing else.
I’ve had Apple Leather on my XSMax. But how the 12 Pacific Blue looks, I don’t want to hide it. Probably going to go for a clear case.
As for “MagSafe”, I don’t know. It’s still not super clear to me yet. I just don’t like Apple’s MagSafe clear case, with that big white circle and line. Looks cheap to me.

I still don't trust a phone avoiding breaking on dropping. I have just bought a Deep Navy apple silicone to hopefully match the PB 12 Pro.

This is false. The MagSafe cases have magnets in them, which attach to the magnets in the phone.
I can't see Apple using the number 13. There will be a new name.

Why would a case need to attach via magnet? It's usually pretty secure and tight.
i went back to 256GB this year. i got 512GB last year and have been surprised to see that I’m averaging 150GB of actual use and I don’t even have the automagic management of letting go of unused apps on and looking at my apps now I could easily save another 50GB with a tad bit of active management. I understand the feeling of never wanting to run out though!
Waking up before noon is early for me 😂 but I have a dentist appointment at 10:30 and almost preordered but I’m going to wait because I want to compare the sizes in person because the mini is tempting. I don’t watch video on phone and like one handed use.
I actually practiced on the website and phone app for when the 12 mini can be pre-ordered, up until the "pay" button so that I'm among the quick ones when the mini drops. Hang in there, still perfectly working 2016 iPhone SE.
