It's very hard for me to decide. I am big fan of white color (even though my previous devices were not white due to limited availability) but Pacific Blue has something...

Opinions?

I'm going with the silver option, for sure. I've had white/silver for the majority of my iPhones but last year I was wowed by the new midnight green color and that didn't last very long. I started hating it almost right away because it looks gray/black 98% of the time. Every time I see a silver 11 Pro I instantly regret my decision from a year ago.

I actually tried exchanging it at the Apple Store but for some bizarre reason they were unable to retrieve my order (even though I bought directly from them). The girl helping me at the store tried calling a bunch of people and after close to an hour I told her to never mind. She was nice enough and got a manager to comp me a free leather case for the inconvenience, however.

Similar to the poster above, I went Midnight Green but after the first month the lure of having the "new color" wore off. It was so muted it looked like Space Gray in certain lighting. It was a good looking phone and did wind up keeping it but will be staying away from the Blue this year and going with either the Silver or Graphite.

You read my mind, I was waiting for this thread to pop up. I am torn as well as I always get the white/silver option, but the pacific blue looks nice and it's defiantly not as dark as the midnight green. I am concerned like the some other's commented as the novelty wearing off in a month or so and then I'm stuck with it.

If you’re a person who likes colored cases like me I would go with the the white, but if you’re fine with specifically matching some cases then pacific blue is great too. I have the XR in white and I personally love the color.

In my opinion, if the question is already on your mind about whether or not you will like it in a month or two after launch then save yourself the trouble and go with one of the more neutral colors.

Im in the same boat. I had a silver X, black XS, and Silver 11Pro. I love the silver because the SS band looks better natural steel than DLC coated a black or blue etc. I dont particularly like the white back as much. I was considering going with the Graphite this year because it is lighter in color than Space Grey or Black but Im not sure its that different and would eventually want the silver cleanliness again.

So tough to decide!

The Cypress Green combo with the Pacific Blue look pretty darn good.

I’m torn blue or black haha. Kind of depends if they toss a leather case option up. If they do, prob black with a brown leather case.

Else I’m contemplating blue with a clear case.

Leather cases are being launched November 6th for the Pro devices.

Gotcha, thanks! I mean, I like the blue. But the neutral colors are usually my jam. Dunno. Will have to see. I think I am 51% blue, balance black. Just knowing my preferences, black is prob better - esp since I don't upgrade every year hehe.

I'm concerned about any color other than silver, because the others don't have a pure stainless steel finish along the edges and my midnight green iPhone 11 Pro suffers from knicks in the corners now where the original green has been chipped away to reveal a black base. Since I don't use a cover, preferring to retain the iPhone as-is with its color scheme (and not liking any of the transparent covers I've yet seen), any paint chipping is annoying.

That has always been the advantage of going with the Silver in that the bands (depending on how OCD you are) can be polished to restore them to almost like new finish whereas the PVD coating there is nothing you can do about it. Worst case like you mention, when it chips it looks horrible.

When are some reviewers going to receive the real iphone 12 pro in different colors? It is really hard to tell what Pacific Blue looks like from the Apple event. It would be nice to see actual pics of the phone.Based on the pics from Apple's website the regular 12 blue looks much nicer than Pacific Blue.

That's not the Pacific Blue Pro. That's the Blue 12.

Yikes way to pay attention me!!! LOL

Yeah changing it up the color combo looks terrible..... I may just stick with the white/silver.... The Pacific blue doesn't go well with case colors other than white or black, maybe a saddle brown leather.

To me the pro blue looks more adult and sophisticated, like the type of blue a blue macbook pro would be. The 12 blue on the other hand looks more like a toy blue, something perhaps for a teenager.

Im looking forward to pre-ording my blue pro on friday and to go caseless for the first time since iphone 5 - the flat edges means the phone can be securely held again without a case.

Not to be boring, but I'd go with the monochrome option because it's consistent year to year. If you get a blue one this year you'll either be disappointed that your now favourite colour is not available when you upgrade next or conversely you'll be more seduced by the next one because this is 'last years' colour.

Unless the press photos are not well depicted, the Pro Blue looks more teal to me. I personally would have preferred a navy blue or something along those lines but this light of color is not for me. I would say buy whatever you will enjoy and don't worry about what he/she said on an Apple forum. If your getting the Pro Max, you potentially will have the luxury of the staggered release and seeing some more 12 Pro first hand before making your decision.
