Woohoo! How'd you all do? I didn't see an option for pick-up at Mall of the Emirates or Dubai Mall.. would have preferred to grab this on launch day so I can play over the weekend. Will call support on Sunday morning to check.
the pick up option was hidden away ... I noticed after my orders were done that I could have collected from MOE by which time the slots had slipped to Saturday so I didn’t bother reordering.
Mine's getting delivered on Sunday.. ugh.. Wish I could just pick up on Thursday. When's your delivery date?

I preordered mine and had an estimated delivery of Oct 25. I thought this was the earliest delivery date and just noticed that some people even have Oct 23 as delivery dates. Just wondering how did they book it fast as I did it in the first few minutes.
Saltiness aside, my order status is still Preparing to Ship no signs of any movement. 🤓
I was thinking to pickit up as well from Apple MOE / Dubai Mall but Apple removed this option for this region and I was already charged by my Bank.

I ordered in the first few minutes and only got an arrival for Sunday, 25th October.
Ordered the iPhone 12 Pro 512GB Graphite.
My Silicone Case with MagSafe - Black already arrived on the 19th.
I have the feeling that the earliest available arrival for UAE was 25 Oct anyway as I haven't heard of anyone receiving theirs earlier.

I remember having a convo with Apple Reps during iPad Pro 12.9 time and they have informed that store pickup is no longer available here in UAE.
Not sure if this was changed but I dont think it is as there are no option at the time of pre-order.
it was definitely there at pre order, I just didn’t spot it until after my rush when the pre order opened.
I actually ordered 2 but the pick up slots at this time had slipped to Saturday evening so I cancelled them and will wait for the Sunday delivery

Now this made me a slight disappointed but anyhow still fine with me as long as the delivery doesn't get late as I bought this phone as a gift to my wife.

Just looked back at my AW6 history and that didn't show as shipped until late the night before, although cases for this showed shipped the day before ...... the distribution centre is fairly local wherever you are in Dubai
Recently just moved here and plan on getting the 12 Mini, preferably from MoE on release day in November. Is it true I can set it to UK during the set up process and then I will be able to access FaceTime - this will be my first iPhone purchase in the UAE? Cheers.
I would like to know this too. Has anything changed? The difference between India and UAE pricing is way too much, for me to consider buying a ticket to UAE, purchasing the phone and flying back

now the UAE phones have FaceTime installed, it will work outside of the country (assuming it’s not blocked in that country). If you try to use FaceTime on the uae carriers network (Du or Etisalat) it’s hit and Miss whether it works, however on your home Wifi you can be successful
the app now being allowed on the phone is a huge step forward and is encouraging that it could be unblocked but how long that takes remains to be seen. Zoom and Teams/Skype were unblocked during lock down and still are. AFAIK.

I have 3 deliveries on Sunday 2 with UPS and 1 DHL ..... I have a regular UPS guy that does most deliveries in my area, I always drop him a text in the morning and he usually gives me a rough delivery window.
