I even considered buying a refurb XS Max, but decided against it. The XS and XS Max were such beautiful phones!
They are. Although if it’s Apple refurb. The prices are probably way too high. Unless they finally adjusted them.

Given the 6s is still supported. The XS and 11 probably have a good few years before they get dropped.

It was eBay refurbished, but it had a 1 year warranty.

I guess if it's a good seller. But eBay refurbished usually just means they turned it on and wiped it down. It's not like Apple refurbished.

Mine was used. I have a single seller on eBay I stick with. As they've always been good for me on phones. They even list if the battery is 100%. Plus they take pictures of the actual phones from multiple angles. Rather than using a stock photo. The seller is thegizmotrader if you're interested. Make sure the names right. As there are sellers with similar names.

They don't offer a warranty though. Just the general eBay protection. Also for some reason they won't get a new camera. So, you'll see spots on every phone that are actually from the camera.

Thank you. I appreciate that!

So, as someone that hasn't had an iPhone in awhile, would the 12 be ok? Or should I just get the 13?
Sounds like you should be OK with the 12. If you plan to get storage higher than 64GB, then to me the $50 is a no brainer for the newer tech and larger battery.

I'm planning to upgrade from my Android phone to IPhone and I'm not much of a gamer. So will 12 do the work or is 13 a better option?

Even for gaming the 12 is still good. I’m still happy with my XS. I can’t tell a difference for my mundane uses between the XS and my current gen iPad Mini (Web, email, maps, music, video playback, and Office). I’d say the majority of users will be good with the 12 for several years.
