16 days in, I have NO complaints with this battery on the 13 Pro Max.
Running latest iOS 15.0.1

(Coconut and iMazing still show a 103.4% - 103.9% Battery health.) VERY little to no drain leaving it off the charger overnight. The most I've lost in 7 hours was 5%, but it seemed like my Google Photos AND Find My... app was running non stop. *FindMy.app still runs all the time, but no massive drain.

Photos and video shooting, along with Safari surfing, what used to kill my 12 Pro Max battery 20-25% in10-15 min. No issues right now.

Said it before, just hope it stays that way!
Can you post a pic of your graph?

Max Tech has a massive pro-apple bias. The blooming effect, especially in a dark room will absolutely trash your viewing experience.
I don't really see anything in that video that is necessarily biased, except them liking the display. And they do show what a picture of the mini-LED taken on a iPhone vs a real camera looks like. You think they are faking the review just to make it look better. He even points out when blooming happened.

Blooming only seems to happen at 100% brightness. This review does the same thing at 100% brightness. Yes, it happens but who actually watches at 100% brightness. It seems that every display tech has its pros and cons. Micro-LED might also have some faults when it actually starts being mass produced.

Just a question when my phoneis at 100% brightness on a black background with a white letters and there is a little bleeding around it is that OLED or a defect?

dude i own a 12.9 pro and I can tell you it’s trash compared to OLED if you use it for something pro like reading or writing a document in dark mode, or watching HDR content. They have spin and underplay the awfulness of mini-LED it’s comical to anyone that actually owns one

I see the bloom on black background and pure white lettering at 100% on my phone. I would call it a limitation. I think people have these extreme expectations about technology that it is easy for them to find fault. How often do you watch in a dark room at 100% brightness? For me, never.

Yeah, me to I also have astigmatism so everything blooms for me, so yeah

If you think it is trash then why didn't you return it? Your complaining about something and making it out like you have no choice but to own it and use it. If it bothered me as much as it apparently bothers you, I would have returned it the first week, may even the first day.

@Wackery what brightness level are you seeing the bloom? And I do see blooming with my OLED display if I set the brightness to 100%. Should I conclude that the display on my 13 Pro Max is trash. You are seeing a limitation on mini-LED display. There is no display technology, right now, that does not have its limitations and faults. OLED has really bad off-axis viewing because it color shifts. I am also seeing a kind of red shift on the iPhone OLED display when I scroll text. It is momentary, but I can see it.

I am the kind of person who researches things to death before I decide what to buy. I am also the kind of person, who when faced with purchasing a product I deem to be defective, I will make sure the company knows about it and I return it for a refund. Why would I want to own a "trash" display iPad? I don't know about you but I would not. I will be the first to tell Apple when something is wrong. Believe me, you don't want to be in the same room with me when the advisor on the other end of the phone is not listening to what I am telling them.

Youtube 80% brightness and 50% volume, I say amazing battery life

Does anyone know how to turn off Photos background activity? I've been seeing more usage of Photos app on the battery usage with 26% usage but when I click on activity, it only used 14 minutes? I used other apps longer, the book app for 1 hour but it shows only 7% usage.

Last night I used Low Power mode and still lost 7% in 4 hours with screen off and do not disturb on (bedtime mode). Is this normal?

Looks like 5hrs 35mins screen on-time. That is really great battery life for the 13 Pro. Have you thought about enabling auto brightness. I was not really understanding how to use auto brightness, until someone showed be how to calibrate properly. Yes, auto brightness needs to be calibrated for it to work effectively. If you had auto brightness enabled you could save battery life.

I hate it because it's either too bright or dark. I'm getting about 3 hours longer than my 12 pro which is about what apple says 3 more hours video streaming so yeah

Did you do calibration when you turned on Auto Brightness? The thing about the calibration is that you set the brightness in a completely dark room. That is the reference brightness that will be used. The initial brightness is going to be all the down to its lowest setting. I thought that was too low so I set the initial brightness to about 5% which is plenty bright in a pitch back room. After seeing the initial brightness you are done, leave Auto Brightness enabled and don't touch the brightness. If you find that you need to adjust the brightness then maybe another calibration is what you need. I actually did the calibration several times, settling on 5% initial brightness.

Try doing the calibration. I never liked Auto Brightness because of what you mentioned about being too bright or not bright enough. After I did the calibration I am finding that I actually like using Auto Brightness.

Thanks, but always have turned it off, I like to control the brightness.

Can we please stop charging our phones 3-4 times throughout the day and then posting our battery life. 🤔🤦‍♂️😂
You are taking away peoples fun and excitement. 😆

I am thinking of just leaving low power mode on all the time and see what kind of battery life I can get that way. It would be interesting for a battery life comparison like mrwhosetheboss did except turn on low power mode on all the phones.
