Yup - there have been other issues as well.If only the issue with these 11 photos was flare - it’s not.

Apple are suddenly selling loads of iPhone 8 models. Please remember to disclose "paid advertising" or "The article was paid for by Apple" when publishing these it-is-time-to-upgrade-your-old-sh** articles ;-)
Let me answer this on his behalf: here are some of my iPhone 11 shots: https://www.flickr.com/photos/33448355@N07/albums Note: there are tons of other photos there (mainly Fuji X-E1 and Sigma DP2M, in addition to scans and pre-iP11 shots) so you'll need to check the camera type of each photo. (In some album names, I specifically mentioned if they are/aren't iPhone-based.)Tell me about your personal experiences with yours.
Let me also speak on his behalf: Please see my iPhone 11 shots above.Nice. You're out of gas regarding proof, and resort to this. How about posting some of your iPhone 11 photos?

Before the release of the iPhone 11, the non-largesensor-camera shots are 7+ (starting with 2016); before that, 6s+, Samsung S7 Edge, Note 4 and so on.
Feel free to point out if you find a significant number of my iP11 shots exhibiting the same problems as in this "review". I can guarantee you won't find many.
Note: I generally "dump" my "consumable", "non-serious" phone shots on Flickr, as opposed to more "serious" shots made on the Fuji X-E1 or the Sigma DP2M, where I generally remove the technically sub-par ones before uploading. That is, even the worst iPhone11 shots are there.
Not sure why you are very protective over this "review"? You seem to be challenging anyone with an opposing view and honestly you have no leg to stand on. Folks have posted threads here on MacRumors with hundreds of photos in different lighting conditions to counter this "review". As I stated before, Dan and MacRumors have no credibility in the product review segment as they have made most of their money peddling rumors (taking content from others). You can see the lack of experience and skill in this review alone which is why folks should not look too MacRumors for purchasing decisions."Disclaimer: I've always had my iP11 in an Otterbox Defender..."
And that's likely why your 11 doesn't flare. My 12 flares easily, even when the direct Sun is far outside of the frame, reducing contrast and/or putting in a bright arc or other artifacts. Shooting 1-handed and using my other hand as a shield/hood solves the problem. But 1-handed shooting sucks and is difficult.
I wish Apple would re-engineer the protruding lens housing. Or paint the chamfered edge of the cover glass sitting proud above the barrel and shiny barrel face black. Such an easy solution.
It could VERY rarely happen, the "hole" is so shallow. And, the newer Otterbox Defenders, incl. that of the iPhone 11, are significantly more "far away" from the cameras than previously (say, on the 7+ or the SE). That is, the propability of this (blocking) happening is VERY-VERY low, even compared to previous iPhone + Otterbox Defender combos.

I LOVE it. Of course it requires a tripod. But with that (and some work in SPP) it produces absolutely beautiful results. Resolution-wise much better than anything Bayer / X-Trans-based up to appr. 30 Mpixels and, thanks to the fine-tuned-to-match-each-other sensor + lens combo, 99% of any interchangeable sensor + lens combo as, obviously, they can't be so perfectly 'matched'. So I love it.How do you like the sigma? Fascinating camera, but i couldn’t bring myself to buy one due to the obvious weirdness.
Again, prolly in 1% of the cases (sunlight days and extreme sun angles). While this "review" shows a LOT more - practically this "review" shows the iP11 in general is trash.A 1/4" or 1/2" blocking can make all the difference in the world.
Nope, only reason I need to upgrade my Iphone X is just for more ram and smoother 120fps screen. never used my camera from my phone other than facetime. always carry my sony a6400 with me anyway
nope i felt it . my cousin showed me his new iphone 13 pro max . it’s really smooth just like my ipad pro , guess you never used 120hx displays they are really smoothDoubt you notice even those differences. The best reason to upgrade is battery going to crap and affecting performance.

So are 60hz displays.nope i felt it . my cousin showed me his new iphone 13 pro max . it’s really smooth just like my ipad pro , guess you never used 120hx displays they are really smooth
once you go 120hz you won’t want to go back to 60hz, hell i learned that years ago pc gaming technically 144hz but 60hz sucks when scrollingSo are 60hz displays.
Well, I went to 120hz and don’t see any difference vs 60hz, so…once you go 120hz you won’t want to go back to 60hz, hell i learned that years ago pc gaming technically 144hz but 60hz sucks when scrolling
so you couldn’t tell the difference that means everyone else can’t, which I don’t believe our eyes can perceive up to 500hz/fps they literally tested this you literally see more than 120hz so I can not possibly believe you didn’t notice a difference or you don’t own a 120hz deviceWell, I went to 120hz and don’t see any difference vs 60hz, so…
The iPhone 12 128GB is only $50 cheaper than the iPhone 13 128GB. The battery life alone imo made the 13 to be the better buy.I don’t like this regurgitated line reviewers use to avoid comparisons to the iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 is a cheaper option for older iPhones to upgrade to that is still sold by Apple. If I had an iPhone 6, I’d surely want to know if an iPhone 12 would get me nearly all the camera improvements at a lower price. Macrumors isn’t the only site saying this… pretty much everyone is. Apple probably told them to frame their reviews this way.
Spoiler: since reviewers are avoiding comparing the iPhone 12 to the iPhone 13 because it’s “too similar”, the iPhone 12 is probably worth the cost savings over the iPhone 13 for people still on older iPhones
