It is fine, but won't make me rush out and buy one. Still disappointed they didn't carry over the mid-year purple color of last year to the 13's. Now that may have convinced me to upgrade my 12 mini to the 13 mini right away.

Yeah, thats my worry too.
I actualy got the SE today for my partner as a surprise. So if they are giving us Green then they could have at least do SE too to keep it in the iPhone family.
Starting with colour first and then having everything later is just 'cheap'

I presume the embargo for the Studio display and Mac Studio will be lifted Monday or Tuesday. I agree that a review for added color is irrelevant

The midcycle refresh concept is interesting. I might hold off on upgrading my iPhone next time I'm due (Fall 2023), and wait for the midcycle color.
Which means I won’t be upgrading until mid 2024. Actually, my mind is set on the White/silver if they plan to keep that.

I like the new greens. Unfortunately, I can’t use OLED iPhones anymore, so none of these are a go for me. But I am enjoying looking at them. I did get a green Samsung phone recently. It’s got a hint of teal in it and I do like the color a lot. It looks pretty next to my mint green iPhone 11.

But the purple from last year will likely always be my favorite iPhone color, especially for a spring surprise.

Still like it but it's too late.

I do think Apple is dropping the ball by not releasing perhaps a Wine red (Maybe that is the "special" 14 Color this year?? - I thought this last year though, who knows.) Something different.

Few *POSSIBLE* Colors - iPhone

This new color is to reach another ethnic group with the iPhone, I have friends over in Europe that like this new green.

And the first thing you do is get a case and never see the color again!
Yep, I've been a case zealot since dropping my OG iPhone and shattering the screen. Nekkid smart phones revel in being as slippery as possible for my fingers to the point that I'm careful to unbox a new phone sitting on a rug or carpeted floor and put it directly into a case.

I gave in and ordered a Green 13 Pro 256GB, my XR is slowly fading, I'm sure it will be worth it.
I've been hanging onto my XR since launch. This dang phone has been a rockstar, but I am on the verge of upgrading too. Can't decide if I want to wait until fall or not. This green is beautiful.

The only color I ever care about on any iPhone or iPad is the bezel color, and I want that black because white is distracting. Otherwise I couldn't care less what color it is because as soon as I get it, it goes into, and remains within, an Otterbox Defender case for the duration of time in which I own it. I don't see them as a fashion statement or status symbol. I see them as a device to make life a bit less crappy.

Nah. AppleCare+ costs $200, or the equivalent of 4 Apple silicone cases. I'd rather go naked and get an express replacement after a year or two.
Interesting point, but it's really $300 if you make any claim besides screen damage. You almost had me reconsidering all my case purchases.

A subtle statement?
You mean, that you’re baller enough to buy a phone halfway down its refresh cycle?
Cool bro.
My first thought was it looks like weed green. And that’s what I’d have to smoke to buy one right now, too. Not gonna happen.
But the color is actually nice.
