iPhones have never looked worse IMO. The X was the last stunning design from Apple. The camera array without the chrome edges look cheap, and the matte finish doesn’t look as nice as the glossy finish of past designs because the glass cover offsets the sexiness of matte paint. Even the retro flat edge design doesn’t capture the beauty of iPhone 4 and 5. Hopefully, iPhone 14 will look much nicer.

What is the criteria Apple set for selecting colors each year for iPhones?

As soon as we see a color we like and want to see that color model continue in the future for a possible upgrade.....they go and change the color again.

Like throwing dung at the wall to see what will stick and what slides off as far as sales per unit by color is concerned.

If you are going to throw dung at the wall ...why not consider introducing one more sku for a pure 100% matte black or gun metal extreme dark grey finish for the next gen?

Shall I upgrade my 13 Pro blue to 13 Pro green?
If you can afford it, go for it.

Perhaps if you walk into an Apple store next Fri., ask if they can actually trade in a 6 mo. old Sierra Blue to the Green. (Something not listed on Apples site)

Obviously you would have to pay some money - IF THAT'S AN OPTION in store. (I'm sure they are going to get a few questions about this)

Perhaps $790, maybe higher $850 for example credit. Who knows. (12 Pro Max was a $790 trade in credit back in Sept.)

Nice thought....It would be nice, I'll be shocked if they did this.

If Apple hadn’t reduced the trade in price I would trade in my 13 Pro Max for a green one.
They only go up to the 2020 iPhone 12 Pro Max, which did drop $140 in trade in value since Sept. 2021.

With those feelings you must be his biggest fan ??
I wasn't discussing "feelings," I was describing facts--he's a slobbering shill. You don't think that? I mean, to each their own, but he does not operate in good faith and totes the Apple PR department's water. Surely you must see this?

Is "slobbering shill" listed in his YouTube bio or something? I haven't seen him ever slobber on his videos and a shill implies he's being paid. I've not heard of him being paid by Apple but maybe it's possible? Unless you have some source to show these I'd say it's an opinion rather than fact.

I think what you're seeing is him liking Apple products and expressing this in the videos. I mean the guy makes videos on just that so yeah I'm pretty sure he's an Apple fan. It's like if a guy only made videos on the Ford Mustang then I'd guess he'd be a Mustang fan. I would not trust him for a neutral opinion if I was considering between a Mustang or another model car.

Do I think he's a neutral reviewer?... Oh heck no! For that you need to go to someone that doesn't have a liking for a brand. Perhaps MHBHD or someone similar.

Did anyone else notice, before the event, that the Peek Performance logo included every color in the rainbow *except* green? I figured that had to mean something, but this seems a bit obtuse.

I just noticed that... I thought it had the 13 but I guess not. Yeah I got $790 for my 11 Pro Max which ended up being over $800 after tax. I guess they figure no one wants to trade in for color LOL
Yeah, the 12 Pro Max was a good trade in I think, add the tax was a nice surprise.
With the inflation nonsense this year (EVERYTHING is up in price!) Will iPhone be higher in $ in Sept.? Trade in be lower?? Who knows.

I DO have a slight feeling the Pro models will be higher in price this Sept.
