On this test the 13 Pro lasted 30 minutes longer than the 13 doing a bunch of different tasks. But you keep believing what you want.
I’m not really believing what I want, but trying to help others understand the use case wherein the 13 Pro will have less battery life compared to a 13. Note, how often was a finger applied on screen during this test? How often during that 8:15 test was the display actually at 120Hz? Two teenagers using a 13 Pro and 13 would show the difference. I’m believing Apple, and they clearly state the 13 Pro doesn’t last as long during normal usage compared to the 13 so I don’t know what else to tell you.

With that said, the optimization that Apple has achieved with a 3095 mah battery (132 mah smaller than the 13) and 120Hz is remarkable!

Does Apple actually say that somewhere?

They didn’t have to. The 12 and 12 Pro had 2815 mAh batteries. They had similar battery life with a slight edge to the standard 12.

The 13 Pro gets 1.5 hours more battery life over the 12 Pro, the 13 gets 2.5 hours over the 12 which is an extremely large jump in real world usage, not just watching videos, or just hitting refresh on a webpage every 30 minutes.

I’ve just noticed after flying around the UI, reading while scrolling, and being very active with my 13 Pro, my battery is getting hit pretty hard.

On top of all this, the 13 has a 3227 mAh battery while the 13 Pro has a 3095 mAh battery.
