So the 15th model is gonna be called 13? Who comes up with these stupid names? Are we gonna have another jump when we get to the 20th anniversary? Btw I was sure that X was the 10th model and thought that made perfect sense until I double checked now and saw that it was indeed 11th... ffs

I just hope I don’t have to continue to get a Pro Max to have a better camera tbh…I got the 12 Pro Max now, love it, except it’s too big for day-to-day. The larger sensor on the wide, and slightly better zoom on the tele is nice, but boy would I pay more for a smaller phone with the same camera features.

Earlier this year, a survey suggested that most consumers don't want the devices to be called the "‌iPhone 13‌." Some 38% of survey respondents said that Apple should call its next smartphone series simply "‌‌iPhone‌‌ (2021)," while 26% thought that the "‌‌iPhone 13‌‌" was the best name, and only 13% said that they would like to see the devices called the "‌‌iPhone‌‌ 12S."
Not superstitious, i.e. couldn't care less. As George Carlin said, “I leave symbols to the symbolminded.”

Think that’s suppose to change this year

So I hope these are real and they keep the same size camera bump set up as the 12. I believe are larger camera setup we saw in the leaks look ridiculously disproportionate.

I can’t really tell if the camera openings on these cases are larger or not. I do wonder if some of the “leaks” of those humongous camera bumps were to flush out who the leakers are along the rumor pipeline. But camera bumps on all phones are getting huge, so I’m resigned to the idea those leaks are real.

I don’t mind necessarily the heft of these phones, but I noticed the balance felt off in the smaller Pro model. I’m not sure how much more top heaviness these phones can pile on without becoming ergonomic nightmares for the majority of their customers.

i am waiting on the iPhone 15 Anniversary Edition, it will be thinner, smaller, lighter, bigger, shinier, faster, curvier, sturdier, sleeker, with a better camera than ever before, smaller notch, no notch, better face ID, faster processor, more ram, better glass ... :p the best iPhone they've ever made!! Pre-Order now, limited quantities will be available.

The 2020 top model iPhone 12 Pro Max 512Gb with full Apple Care is about $1,670 before local sales taxes that could push the total to around $1,800 in Arizona.. With the chip makers raising prices, Apple will set a much higher price as it has to cover the costs all year despite intermittent chip price increases.

This may be the year that the top iPhone model complete price goes over $2,000 which one would think should start to thin the crowd rushing to buy every year..... The current 2020 top model 12.9" iPad was over $2,550 with Apple care and before sales tax.

I wonder at what sales price number the end user's rubber band money wallets break and sales plummet. These numbers make for a great bottom line for Apple now. The up market will turn to a down market at some point and these expensive iToys will among the first items to not be purchased every year....

Is anyone even worried about the name anymore? People have been calling the iPhone 13.

After iPhones 4 and 6 it’s pretty clear Apple doesn’t care about what number they show with iPhones.

They really should’ve just gone the Samsung route and called it the iPhone 21. There’s a lot of superstitious people out there.

They never cared about that.

The iPhone naming system is so messy. What ever happened to the iPhone 9?!

Intentionally left out to show a 10th anniversary model called X. Then continued from there.

I really miss this as well, the suspense is gone, there are no longer any real surprises on the keynotes, we're more or less just playing rumor bingo these days.
Well, I guess it kinda depends on you! I limit the rumours channels (so ironic to type that on this site) and now I basically know ZERO rumours about the upcoming iPhone.
I actually don't care how the call it, I really hope that they will be back with the XS, XS Max situation where the only one difference was the display size.
I hate the Maxes. And I don't want to sacrifice convenience for the better camera.
