You are completely correct....it was a typo on my part........I have not thought in MB in decades.👍 very true and our original Avid editing system at work had external hard drives that were the size of the Manhattan business to business yellow pages and double the weight. They were 3 GB each and you needed to use them in pairs....SCSI 1....$5K eachThe joke was because you listed the RAM in GB. When RAM back then was in MB. A few MB of RAM in 1990 cost thousands of dollars. A GB of RAM was unheard of.
The IIfx topped off at 128MB. 128MB would’ve been more than the average yearly income of multiple people in 1990 combined. Don’t care to pull out an old MacWorld to see exactly how much.
