Not sure how your not seeing its darker on top and pink/ red on middle and bottom

Do you think it’s worth exchanging?
What I think doesn’t matter because it’s not my phone ?

If you can see it and it annoys you in day to day use then definitely yeah return that and buy a new one with (hopefully) no screen defects.

It could be possible that Ive been looking at phone to much and and am losing my mind lol
don’t bother with trying to post photos, unless it was extremely bad chances are it won’t be easily picked up on camera. From my experience the issue is only noticeable if you actually use the phone in person for awhile.

Yikes, that disgusti

very true well I guess I’ll make the final decision as tomorrow is my last day to exchange but if the chances are gonna be that I’ll get worse then I don’t know, do you have any of these issues with your phone? I’m pretty sure you have already mentioned it but I can’t remember lol

I think no.
As long as it is not very bad stay with the phone. And yours is not so bad :)

I think it is not worth the time, money and excitement.
My 13PM also has little bit uneveness in brightness from top to bottom.
But is even from left to right.
I think there is no 100% uniform OLED screen out there …

I also found out it is better to have a uneveness from top to bottom, because if you read a text you don’t remember it. If you have a uneveness from left to right it sucks more. I had this before on my 12 Pro Max and I often have seen it.
Every 12PM and every 13PM I had, had some uneveness :/
At the end of the day you gotta weigh what’s more worthwhile to you. Spending God knows how much extra time and energy to hopefully win the iPhone QC lottery. Or not spending extra time but cope with owning an expensive $1500 USD flagship phone that has a subpar screen you can see every time.

yes, as a refresher, I bought a 13 PM on the day after launch day, and it had almost the exact same screen uniformity defect as everyone else posted here. Returned that for a full refund after a few days, couldn’t buy another one because they didn’t have any in stock.

Now they have some in stock, I bought another 13 PM about a week ago. Same exact screen issue, but it seems slightly worse than before though. I was going to return this one ASAP but once again no stock so I’ll have to wait awhile. Thankfully there’s the extended return window so worst case scenario I just keep using this before Jan 8 2022, hopefully stock improves by then.

Is it worse or same as mine?

I’d have to use your phone in person for awhile to see. But judging from the photo you posted it looks about the same problem. Red tint coming from the top, blue/greenish from the bottom.

Yes I can see it on all brightness levels, my eyes are really sensitive to colors even though I’m nearsighted lol

Got the cream colored one.

Mine isn’t really noticeable on a brightness above 7% and whats the cream colour? Haven’t heard of it lol

We’ve engineered the Super Retina and Super Retina XDR displays to be the best in the industry in reducing the effects of OLED "burn-in." This includes special algorithms that monitor the usage of individual pixels to produce display calibration data. Your iPhone uses that data to automatically adjust the brightness levels for each pixel as needed to reduce visual effects from "burn-in" and to maintain a consistent viewing experience.
They couldn’t engineer it to have a uniform color?? 🙄

Likewise I just can't see it in pictures like this.
I can clearly tell the difference between the top block of cells and the bottom cells. Crude drawing, but the two areas have different colors to my eyes.
