Looks a lot more even in that pi
When I look at it it’s got red tint at the top and bottom and slightly blueish in the middleIt lols great. That is how my 13 Pro Max display looks, nice even and uniform looking.

I put arrows where I see the red tint and in the middle it’s a bit bluishI still don’t see the pink tint at the bottom. If you can see it in person that is something but to me I don’t see it.
Well it’s how it looks in real life to your eyes that matters, are you still within your return window? When I look at it it’s got red tint at the top and bottom and slightly blueish in the middle
If you can see non-uniformity with your eyes in day to day use, swap it out.I put arrows where I see the red tint and in the middle it’s a bit bluish
Yes I am but I’m so afraid I’ll end up with something worseWell it’s how it looks in real life to your eyes that matters, are you still within your return window?
I can only see it at 5-7% screen brightness anything above that I really can’t see it and dark mode looks really goodIf you can see non-uniformity with your eyes in day to day use, swap it out.
Question is. Do you really need to use the phone at that lowest brightness setting? If you think that the issue only happens around 5-7% then maybe another approach is just don’t use your phone at that low brightness level. Lol. But really it’s your device. If you are really bothered by it. By all means get it exchanged.I can only see it at 5-7% screen brightness anything above that I really can’t see it and dark mode looks really good
i think it’s more of the fact that I know it’s there rather then anything elseQuestion is. Do you really need to use the phone at that lowest brightness setting? The reason why I exchanged mine couple days ago, I thought I had a uniform screen but for some reason I noticed that in bright light it was uneven tint in light mode, that’s why I returned that one and I got a new one and this one does not do That in broad daylight. All uniform, also in low brightness in both dark mode and light mode, there is no hint of any pink/red/organge tint.
The photos I have seen of other iPhone 13 models where there is a tint issue, the picture seems to amplify the tint more. In your case, it is the opposite. Very interesting.I put arrows where I see the red tint and in the middle it’s a bit bluish

It is interesting I also can’t see it in the photos I took, also I shouldn’t of said pink tint it looks more like orange tint at the bottom and top, what’s even more interesting is that I took a snapshot of a white background and when I look at that photo it looks really even no tinting issues whatsoever then when I switch to the settings app within 2 to 3 seconds I see that tent reappears then I will switch back to that white photo and the tint will slowly disappear within a few seconds and then when I go back to the Settings app again it reappears very strange and I don’t know what to make of that lolThe photos I have seen of other iPhone 13 models where there is a tint issue, the picture seems to amplify the tint more. I’d replace that iPhone ASAP. It’s got a major white spot on it. 🤣This is mine at 5% - 2nd pic with night shift and true tone on, 1st pic with them off.
In my personal experience the iPhone X had the best OLED panel. It’s been on a decline with every model since then. Especially since the iPhone 12 series.Has Apple’s OLED panel quality always been this bad since it was first introduced in the iPhone X? Or is this all recent? I wouldn’t know since my last phone was 8+ and that’s a pretty good uniform LCD display.
Lucky! How many tries did it take ya?Decided to give it another shot to take the advantage of the extended holiday return policy as my other device was not and had uniformity issues. So returned that and picked up another one on Friday. This one is perfect. No pink tint issue in darkmode low brightness. Everything is just perfect and is a keeper.
I can see it, hey that looks almost exactly like the issue I had/have. Reddish gradient coming from the top, greenish gradient coming from the bottom ?I put arrows where I see the red tint and in the middle it’s a bit bluish
My previous device exhibit the same issue, it super noticeable under the normal condition, like day to day activities.I can see it, hey that looks almost exactly like the issue I had/have. Reddish gradient coming from the top, greenish gradient coming from the bottom ?
I’m going to try my luck for the third time once they have some in stock. If that STILL ends up having a defective screen I’m just gonna return it and wait it out for next year, hoping the quality control improves, this is ridiculous. My previous device exhibit the same issue, it super noticeable under the normal condition, like day to day activities.
Do you think it’s worth exchanging?I can see it, hey that looks almost exactly like the issue I had/have. Reddish gradient coming from the top, greenish gradient coming from the bottom ?
I think no.Do you think it’s worth exchanging?
It’s funny or sad depending on how you look at it, when exchanging a device that has a tint to one with no tint it’s so exciting at the time. Until a few days pass and you realize that it too had tints but not as bad as the original one
My current panel appears to be much sharper in displaying fonts and such. But that could be my imagination. Cue those threads about washed displays. Lol
It’s very frustratingThat sinking feeling…I can only imagine how frustrated one might feel![]()
He sounds like a Genius technician when one tries in vain to explain and show tint issues. 🤣👍🏼 They never see it.I still don’t see the pink tint at the bottom. If you can see it in person that is something but to me I don’t see it.
Here’s the display models at Best Buy. 🤣The photos I have seen of other iPhone 13 models where there is a tint issue, the picture seems to amplify the tint more. In your case, it is the opposite. Very interesting.
