My iPhone 14 Pro looses all network connectivity (WiFi & Carrier) randomly throughout the day and you need to do a full reboot to get a network connection again. This issue existed in 16.0 and was resolved in 16.0.1 but it reappeared in 16.0.2, if I downgrade to 16.0.1 everything is fine.

Does anyone have a similar issue?
I have same problem drops overnight and on 16.1.2. Spent 1.5 hour on phone w AT&T support, supposedly they updated my sim. Problem came back 2 days later

Still happening to me with iOS 16.1 (iPhone 14 pro max). Usually happens during the night. When I pick up my phone in the morning I have no connectivity at all (Wi-Fi or cellular). I have express vpn installed but turning it off in the evening doesn’t improve the situation. I have the problem maybe 2 or 3 times a week. Really annoying. Fast work around I found is, in the morning, to turn back on vpn in the main setting page. That fixes the connectivity issue.
My problem exactly. 2 hours w AT&T didn’t help

in my case it seems to be related to vpn. I use express vpn and when I leave vpn on during the night I have the lost connectivity issue almost every night. I now only turn on my vpn when needed and leave it off otherwise. since then I haven’t had the lost connectivity issue at all. I also discovered that express vpn has what they call a “kill switch” which turns off all connectivity when the vpn connection drops (“This means there’s no chance that your IP address and other sensitive information could be exposed if your VPN stops working.”). I wonder if this was my issue. A feature not a bug…..

i called apple support and they mentioned it may be caused by a VPN, i have expressVPN. I turned off expressVPN at night before going to bed, and that solved the problem. Hopefully apple will fix this in their next OS to allow one to keep on expressVPN all the time. so famoushenry i confirm your experience, need to turn off the ExpressVPN

My iPhone 14 Pro Max seems to lose all connectivity as well from time to time, which I only notice when I open e.g. Safari or Mail. The app tries to load the content but eventually freezes, turns white and I have to force a restart. No VPN running.

Wi-Fi drops happening on my 14 Pro on 16.2. Got the phone on launch day, and actually never saw it happen until 16.2

Usually just toggling WiFi off then on fixes it.

No issues with T Mobile cell data though.

I also have ExpressVPN and 1Blocker VPN but my drops are happening when these are not enabled, so I don’t think it’s a VPN issue.

I initially had these same issues on my iPhone 14 Pro Max at launch but seemed like it was fixed via iOS updates. Unfortunately, it's back after the latest update and I see now I am seeing it happen on my M1 MacBook Pro as well. The system periodically hangs on the MacBook Pro when using Safari, even when trying to open other apps. I shut WiFi off and turn it back on and everything picks back up again.

I am using ExpressVPN and decided to uninstall apps on both iPhone and Mac. Let's see how it goes.

Hey All! New to the forum. I signed up because the last response from april of 2023 was the most recent I could find on this issue. I just got a new iPhone 14 pro (I have been hanging onto my 8 plus forever). I got it two days ago. Day one and night one were fine. Day two was fine. I woke up this morning and my fiancé (who works overnights) said "hey is your phone not working" when he got home because he called me on his way home at 7 am and it went to voicemail. When I looked, I saw I had no service. I did restart and it's back on. However, I'm very concerned about not having service overnight. I've seen a lot information about it being related to VPN, which I do not use.
Just wondering if there's been any updates on this that anybody is aware of?
