I doubt many people keep the brightness level at 100%. That just isn't realistic or practical, unless one has a medical condition.

In my opinion, the test wasn't really reflecting typical usage.

I am happy with my iPhone Pro battery life thus far.
I always use my screen at %100 brightness. Have been doing so ever since I started using smartphones.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve set my 14PM AOD to off, given the battery savings it offers, but I’ve only once had my battery level be below 40% by the time I go to bed at the end of the day, so it’s back on again. I really like the fact that unlocking is more seamless with AOD on, as I can just swipe up to unlock.

I wish i could set the screen brightness to near 0. I’m in my bed right now, in the darkness, and the lowest brightness it can go is still too bright.

The only surprising fact for me in this video was how the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra struggled against the Pixel 6 Pro. Which was notorious for battery issues.

Current tally...14 Pro Max has best processor, best screen, best battery, best camera, best purple colour,...are the speakers and call quality the best 🤩

19 hours of web browsing. I love these tests, but real world is in excess of a day as no one should be using their phones for that much non-stop. Factor in idle times, etc. aka standby, and the phones last much longer. I took mine off the charger at 6:45am and as of 4:15pm, some 11 hours and 30 minutes later I am at 68% remaining battery. 32% usage in just under 12 hours. Now this hasn't been heavy usage by any means. But typical.

13 Pro Max dominates the 14 Pro Max anyway...

I'm not so sure anymore. When the 14PM released, the battery life was abysmal, but now it is perfectly in line with my 13PM. Granted, the 13PM is a year old with 98% battery health, but I've got the always on display enabled on the 14PM, so it seems about right.

But definitely, the battery life was trash on the 14PM for a while.
