Is Apple putting A15 in their silicone cases now too?Are you implying Snapdragon is the best processor? When did they beat Apple silicone?
Silicon lolIs Apple putting A15 in their silicone cases now too?
So, To sum up, Apple got a Samsung display and put a lot of effort into tuning up and making it operate better than Samsung bothers for its own devices with the same display.Difference is, Apple designs Apple silicone from ground up and the core technology behind it is Apple engineering and TSMC manufacturers them. But Samsung has the core technology in display and Apple tweaks them to their spec.
I have fembot visions. Is Apple putting A15 in their silicone cases now too?
Interesting observation. It would appear that they get enough money from Apple to not bother about anything else. They used to declare every new Samsung and Apple phone as having the best display, now they test only Apple phones and, logically, declare its display the best (with just one competotor, how can't it win?).Am I missing something as DisplayMate do not seem to have tested many phones other than 3 iPhones over the last 2 years

I‘m still very happy with my iPhone 11 😏Make it flicker-free, then it will be the undisputed best.
I’m not complaining… there are a lot of users that get tension headaches and migraines from the PWM flickering to the point that we can barely even use the latest OLED iPhones.
Here I am hoping for a LCD model, they have 4 phones, why cant one be LCD? Im keeping my 11 because of this
OMG! Too funny!
I will agree that the number of users who experience an immediate, noticeable negative response probably is a small percentage. Even for me, as someone sensitive to flicker and light in general, only a handful of OLED iPhones have been immediately uncomfortable to use. The more sinister issue is for people who have a very mild negative response that builds over time. For me, that happened with the iPhone X. I used it for almost six months before I put two and two together maybe my phone was causing my daily tension headaches. Sure enough, once I switched to the XR when it was released, headaches went away.By "lot of users", you mean a very tiny faction of a percentage of users.
Not Exactly... the new panel tech by Samsung isn't out on their own phones yet, the 13 series and s22 series are on the same generation, so it's not fair to compare to anything out yet. The comparable Samsung panel for their own phones, won't come until the s23 series, in a few monthsSo, To sum up, Apple got a Samsung display and put a lot of effort into tuning up and making it operate better than Samsung bothers for its own devices with the same display.
Did something change in the color management on iOS or Android in the last two years? Because before that every Samsung flagship was labeled as having the best display.More likely Samsung doesn’t provide them with devices anymore because they’re afraid of the outcome compared to the iPhone.
Considering Android has a garbage implementation of color management vs iOS, it’s gonna be no contest even with identical displays.

The "DisplayMate Best Smartphone Display Award" for the last 2 years only tested Apple displays so it's really a completely self centred award and is irrelevant for use as any comparison check against any other OEMDid something change in the color management on iOS or Android in the last two years? All this is telling you as you would expect Apple screens appear to improve year on year mainly thanks to Samsung technology improvements in screens provided for iPhones
Any competent and reliable test would be independent and not reliant on freebies or perhaps like us Samsung realise the validity of these awards is 0 and not worthyThe real question is why Samsung hasn’t provided them with any devices to test? Surely if they were the best Samsung would be rushing them a sample even before launch so the results would coincide with reviews.
