So a few updates ago there was a problem with cloud sync which was draining the battery fast! They have since fixed it with updates so update to iOS 16.3.1 which should fix the problem you’re having. Below is the original problem discussion.

I've had this issue too, for me, putting the phone face down activated the camera which remained on.

Not sure what caused mine, but iPhone SE3 went from full 100% charge (first full charge out of the box) to 100% dead overnight. Battery stats don’t show any apps as draining the phone because nothing is installed that wasn’t stock and no apps have yet been used. The phone hasn’t really been set up…but went from 100% to 0% overnight. Odd…
