I think I saw an image of something close to Dynamic Island around here.. could've been another site but I knew it was coming.
I've been looking for any leaks and info I could find and didn't hear about it.

I was actually upset at the first iPhone 14's they showed that still had the notch.

Frankly, I would really love a PRO MAX model without all the camera upgrades and thickness and extra weight. At some point that should be possible - we’re moving there with the 6.7” base model, but I do want the additional features of the PRO MAX. What to do what to do.

Can someone explain to me why the 14 Pro is taller and wider then the 13 Pro?

Apple stated the bezels are thinner then the 13 Pro. The design hasn’t changed so that doesn’t add up at all.

Bezels can be smaller but overall size could be larger.. COULD be extra antennae for GSAT communications.. it’s probably in there somewhere.

Since this is actually going to be a SATELLITE connection (and not the janky Starlink - T-Mobile trying to use 5G to connect connection) they are most likely going to actually need not only an additional chipset but also some type of antennae addition.

But the screen size and dimensions are identical. So the only peace left is the metal band. They made it thicker.

So when you add the black bezel with the metal band, the overall bezel is not thinner.

well if you're looking to save the planet, maybe don't buy a new phone each year for start?

how's that grab ya...
Maybe my point is that Apple should stop with their environmental nonsense. Make sense? :)

Listen Apple, I’m glad that you are not obsessed about paper thin devices anymore, but I don’t know man.. iPhones are getting pretty fat and heavy. Continue with this pace and the next iPhones will be as thick as the first iPhone. It’s one of the reasons I’ll be downgrading from Max to regular.

You can recycle, trade-in, or hand me down phones. It all goes to somebody eventually. The demand is there. Someone who can’t afford the latest iPhone will always buy my iPhone Upgrade Program refurb every year.

Now cases? Those are hardly reused due to the griminess and wear (no demand), and many aren’t recyclable. Though I have handed down some cases with devices to relatives if they were still in good shape. But they are often replaced due to personal preferences for style.

If Apple actually cared, they would provide at least security updates for old phones for a few years so older devices could keep going. Or, you know, make an iPhone that’s not two breakable slabs of glass on both sides. Or, at the worst, make an iPhone Ultimate that doesn’t need a case because it’s so rugged!

I think we can all agree that Apple's environmental horsesh** is just a sorry excuse for their customers' indulgence. They need to sell stuff and one way to sell more is to make people feel good about themselves for buying it.

And as far as security updates for vintage devices are concerned, once you stop getting safari updates, it is only a matter of a short period of time before you'll start having issues with loading websites. At that point, your $1000 device of yesteryear will become a fancy paperweight at best. So what's the point of releasing security updates for something you can't really use anymore?

If the iPhone 14 Pro used titanium instead of steel and was lighter in weight, it would be an instant buy.

After they said the Ultra watch was going to use titanium, I was hoping that they were going to make a phone out of it too.
