It was slow on the 13 Pro as well shortly after release. This heavily improved for me with iOS 15.1 and 15.2
I guess that 14 Pro owners will be much more happy as well with the next iOS updates.

Weird. Only issue I have had is the AirDrop thing, but that’s something I deal with every year when I upgrade (not specific to iOS 16 or iPhone 14 Pr). Then again, I don’t use snapchat or TikTok, so I’m not about to try to break my camera by testing it 😂

I just want to thank all of you early adopters of new Apple products, including software. My standing rule of February 1 keeps getting justified.

I just told my wife not to upgrade to iOS 16 so fast. Now her Car Play is having issues in her X5. Only that changed was her update to iOS 16. I am sure by February it will be worked out.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Apple needs to stop trying to release new hardware and major iOS versions at the same time. They clearly cannot manage to do them simultaneously. Release the new phones with stable software and then do the upgrade later. Save everyone a lot of headaches.

You don’t seem to get how things work.

Ha, with all these iPhone 14 issues popping up...not as annoyed my order won't be showing up for at least another month or so. 🤣

Interesting. I have zero issues with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I transferred everything from my 13 Pro Max. The camera starts instantly. Battery life has been great and I enjoy the phone a lot. Much better than the 13 Pro Max.

Lol how old are you guys to say it’s a scandal. It’s just a software lag, you clearly didn’t were there for the early iPhone launch 😆

Have you ever tried to ship something in the software world, their release are nearly perfect for the 100th millions customer, try to top that fr !

Apple used to make fun of Windows when they came out with updates about how buggy they were.
In the last 7-8 years their iphones have been little other than bugs and endless attempted bug fixes with every update.
Most valuable company in the world....mhmm...

all the iPhone 14 pro issues seem to come from iOS 16 being a mess, not the hardware itself. so at least the issues can be fixed
That's what I was just thinking. I hope it really is just software otherwise, this is just embarrassing.

The camera app, and camera in many apps, has been less than average, and IMO borderline trash over the last 3 weeks or so, I cant pinpoint when the exact time it started (iPhone 12 Pro Max with Blurry view when switching lenses, longer than expected load times, camera having trouble focusing, and several other issues). I didn't put much thought into it, and just told myself it was an anomaly. My 14 ProMax arrives soon, and I'm hoping this is correctable via software update, and it absolutely needs to be a top priority at Apple to sort this out ASAP.

Camera has been unreliable for me on iPhone 13 Pro under iOS 16.

Had to use a third party camera app to take a picture while on a call on a VoIP app, because Camera just kept crashing and relaunching.

I sincerely regret installing this update. Apple is even making me question my investment in their whole ecosystem at this point.
