No I don’t have silver. I have a Pacific Blue 12PM and a Deep Purple 14PM. Now I understand what you’re saying. I wonder if that’s because you had silver stainless steel sides?

The silver stainless sides will get light scratches from the case and the other colors will scratch the inside of the lucid case. The more you change the case, the more scratches will appear. I just got mine replaced and already have a couple of noticeable (to me) scratches near a couple of the corners. They are very faint so I’m trying not to let them bother me. We’ll see how that goes. I do think it is the best clear case out there, but haven’t tried the Phone Rebel yet but I’ve tried a lot of others.

I want the Phone Rebel Flex 14 in Crystal, but I hasn’t gone on sale yet, and I don’t want to buy anymore cases since I’m going to upgrade next year.

All TPU clear cases will yellow as well as any TPU part of a case such as the edges. The Caudabe Lucid will never yellow but comes with other issues. It’s probably the best looking clear case out there though.

I have the Rebel case also and I like that too. I’m torn about which case to use at the moment.

The anti yellowing is a false claim. They always yellow after 3-4 months. Apple clear case is the only one that doesn’t yellow.

It is true all TPU cases yellow. Caudabe is another brand that is not made of TPU and does not yellow. Between the Apple and Caudabe, I much prefer the look and feel of the Caudabe. Both of these cases are a tight fit and difficult to get off, are slick and do show fingerprints and scratches like most clear cases. When buying a clear case, you basically have to pick the one that you can live with as I’ve not found one that doesn’t have at least some of these issues. Haven’t tried Phone Rebel’s clear case yet but I think it is also made of at least some TPU and that part will yellow so . . . pick your poison.
