I got the Ink and the Elderberry Apple cases.

Which do you prefer? I have the Elderberry but phone is arriving next week and I can get an Ink case for a very good price at the moment...

Had both and relatively the same color but it all comes down to what material you want. Kept the ink even though elderberry was better to hold due to silicone being more grippy.

Well, Apple sent me my iPhone replacement yesterday, so I could test cases further.

I have one thing to say: Don't bother with knockoffs !

You can't click on the lock button (it doesn't fit the actual button so it's a pain). Shame because it looked great

I actually ordered the Wisteria (Notow Factory Store) and the Ink (Shop5380038 Store) ones... and the links to both articles no longer exist ! I guess this is why they had only five star ratings and comments !

My first one just arrived...

The lock button didn't work at first but after pushing it outside (from inside the case), it's okay now. I guess that removing the cheaply glued piece of "leather" and replacing it with a thiner one would work better.

The color looks very close to last year wisteria. The leather has a different touch, tho (I don't really know if it is real leather?). The lip around the screen is higher than the one on the Apple genuine case, making it less confortable to use.

It would have looked definitely better with the fake Apple logo cut.

Yeah me, too. I have a nice black Spigen case with a sliding door and it works well and has done a great job keeping my lenses clean as well as the glass around them. But I want a clear case that can do the same thing.

My purple Pro Max has pajamas. It’s got a soft silicone case with a microfiber lining that’s made by Spigen and is close in color to the blue/purplish one Apple offers. It has a MagSafe magnet in it but I no longer use MagSafe charging so I can’t vouch for how well that works. I use this Silicone case in the house. It’s easy to remove so if I’m in a part of the house with carpet I can remove it easily and see the phone for awhile.

The case with the sliding camera door gets put on when I go out. I also have a clear Velvet Caviar case with ghosts on it for Halloween. I don’t plan on using it outside of October though. It’s so hard to take off I broke a nail in the middle of the nail bed trying to take that case off. It’s a good case though. It’s very protective.

I used to use Caudabe Lucid clear all the time. I still do for my phones with rounded edges like my iPhone 11. I didn’t much care for how they go on and come off the phones with the flat edges. Rigid sides and flat edges just didn’t work out well for me.

With MagSafe, I'm buying into Apple's modular shtick here, though not always with Apple's stuff.

The clear case would be pretty much permanently on the phone. Then I'd use the magnets to swap the outer case. I currently have a universal sliding case like this one that I use as my main wallet. And if I want to go running, then I can remove the thick wallet case and stick on a much cheaper version of the Apple MagSafe wallet, filled with ID and cab fare.

I ordered an inexpensive silicon (Ornarto brand in elderberry) case from Amazon so I would have something to put on the phone when it arrived. Ended up actually liking it a lot - fits perfectly, very little to no link pickup, not slippery. I also ordered a deep green pebbled leather case from Etsy that has not arrived. It has a card pocket on the back which I like to use for keeping appointment cards in until I have time to enter the dates into my phone. Still considering the Apple leather in orange and a clear case of some kind.

The silicone case in Elderberry shows fingerprints and grease terribly. Never seen a apple silicone case do it like that color. Had to return. But I now have the Leather one in the INK color and am very happy with that!

No it hasn’t scratched my 12 Pro Max. I took it off every 3 days to clean all the dust and debris out of the case.

Do you have the silver one by any chance? I may have not been clear. I have trouble with the phone scratching the inside of the Lucid, but when I had the silver/white phone, the case scratched the stainless frame on the phone. I have the deep purple 14 PM now so more concerned with the phone scratching the case. I hate scratches!

No I don’t have silver. I have a Pacific Blue 12PM and a Deep Purple 14PM. Now I understand what you’re saying. I wonder if that’s because you had silver stainless steel sides?

Received my 14 Pro Max this morning. Ink leather case hadn't arrived yet, put the ESR clear case on - quite chunky but decent and the built in stand around the camera is handy. Then tried the Elderberry silicone...lovely fit but didn't like the feel nor the amount of dust it seems to instantly attract..possibly sending it back! Then the Ink leather case arrived...can't see me using the other cases now - this is lovely!

I bought the Elderberry color case from Apple as well as a random clear case from Amazon for my 14 Pro Max.

Same here for my 14 Pro. I use the clear case (ESR) most of the time. It hasn't yellowed yet, but I expect it will, despite them claiming it won't.
Now I will soon get a (my first) wallet so I'm looking into a leather case, probably Forest Green as I like the combo with the deep purple from what I've seen on pics posted on MR so far.

I have a ESR clear case and so far, so good 🤞 no yellowing (but it's probably too early to tell 😁)
