A thousand times this. My 13 Pro was unpleasant to handle outside its case. I'm convinced the Pro phones in particular are designed specifically to look good in product photos.
really? I love the way the 13 pro max feels (not mine), I love the way my current XS max feels and ill probably love the 14 pro max.

the stainless steel sides and matte back feel incredible

also stainless steel sides are way more durable, especially with port warping over time

Working on 48MP RAW photo, iPhone 14 Pro.
That's a BIG file.

Yes I remember 3D Touch, but what does that have to do with the Touch Bar on a Mac vs the Dynamic Island on an iPhone?
3D Touch was abandoned and scrapped by Apple in just a couple of years. The point is Dynamic Island might easily follow suit.

I’m disappointed. I’ve now watched/read 3 reviews and my conclusions seem to be that the (1) the camera isn’t that improved and the processing is still over the top. The Pixel seems to win in nearly every comparison I see, and (2) battery life is down despite being advertised as having better battery life than the corresponding 13 Pros.

Pretty sucky that the camera is supposed to be the main selling feature, it’s not even that improved, and still lags behind the competition in photos.

"(1) the camera isn’t that improved and the processing is still over the top."

That's not what I read about the cameras. Especially the 48 Mpixel one. Also... if you shoot in RAW, as anyone who's serious about their photography, you have total control over the processing as there is no in-camera processing then.

As a photographer who has been shooting exclusively with iPhones for the last 7-8 years (and going back to 2010 with my dSLRs and mirrorless cams), they're pretty remarkable.

Looking forward to picking up my 14 ProMax this Friday.

Curious, are you a serious photographer?

I noticed that the time and battery percentage disappear when the island gets larger. Blah.
It would be nice if additional drops would appear on the left and right of the island when you have multiple apps running things in the background.

UrAvgConsumer couldn't be further away from an actual average consumer.

Does iJustine just flick her hair, and go wow a lot, whilst trying to find ways to include footage of herself in active wear?
