iPhone 14 Still to Boast Performance Improvement Despite Sticking With A15 Chip

As awful it maybe it’s not being starred at while in use and some people like parading the latest due to some complex. We live in a material world 😁
Honestly, I'm not that bothered about the appearance of a phone. I want it to perform the tasks I want it to do quickly. Nothing else.
Since Apple never discloses RAM sizes in their phones I don't think this will be a major selling point except for those who follow this stuff closely.
I upgrade when I want, I went from a 12 Pro to a 13 mini as it maybe the last of its kind and unfortunate as I feel it’s the perfect size to hold. Had there been more positive rumours of a 14 mini, I would have held. I find the 6.1” display too large and uncomfortable to hold and use, those Pro Max users are rocking a brick.
I have a tablet, laptop and tv if I want to view content on a large screen and don’t understand people consuming tv and movies on a phone. An insult to director and the entire team who worked to make the movie a reality.
Times change and it was evident when it initiated disclosure of RAM in the 2021 iPad Pro
Unfortunately this is not true for Apple, if ever. Unlimited growth has been fueled and fiercely promoted by Wall Street and whatnot for centuries. And given Apple defy all odds to still report growth in the last quarter, I just can’t see this trend going down anytime soon.
Yes, it is correct that every good thing will come to an end, but go and ask any apple shareholder do they want apple to go decline, the answer is going to be unilaterally no.
Yeah, to each their own, but beginning with the iPhone 13 Pro, Apple really differentiated the two products. 13 Pro got Promotion, more RAM, upgraded GPU, totally different cameras not just 3 vs 2. Some people don’t find value in the Pro, but to me, since I don’t upgrade every year any more, I definitely only consider the Pro because the extra features make it worthwhile to hold on to for more than a year. And in my opinion the 13 Pro is the most mature iPhone. Only two features left on iPhone I want -> USB-C and AoD. I’ll wait til 2023 to get those hopefully!
13 mini does that well for me. I may pickup a 14 Pro for the extra camera while on vacation or maybe get a dslr.
A bit of an aside but I agree. My 5.8 inch display is on the absolute limit for me. I value the one-hand grip and navigation over everything else for a phone.
Though I simply don't feel enough innovation is being made here to upgrade on some kind of schedule. I'll upgrade whenever they either actually bring in a feature I want (seems like I'll have to wait) or the phone breaks.
Nothing more than a move to raise the average selling price of the iPhone. Want the best performance? Now you’ll have to buy the more expensive models.

No way they keep the 13 and 13 Pro around. Too similar to 14 and 14 Pro. This, by all indications of the rumors, appears to be a year of incredibly small changes YoY and one of the more minor upgrades. I predict the 14 Max to be a big seller only because you can get a non-Pro iPhone with a large display now.
Yes, of course the iPhone 13 will be reduced. However, before all the "Pro" nonsense took over, you would have the option between the previous generation on a discount or the new iPhone for the "regular" price. This all changed when they introduced the "Pro" and the "regular new" iPhone. Don't know how to explain it lol
Just imagine them selling a reduced iPhone 13 for 599 USD and the next one starting at 999 USD, mentally people would be like "wtf" that's too expensive, so lets put another iPhone (iPhone 14) in between, to be able to maintain the high price point of the "Pro". Its mostly an upselling, marketing thing.
By this measure of a product cycle must mean vehicles are not in demand anymore 😂. This is a naive understanding of a product cycle as a better reference is if the product gains more functionality then it would envelope two or more product cycles. Phones as a singular function to make calls is a mature product, incorporating it to have and perform other thing changes the cycle. For example adding a music player, web browser, apps, games, etc.
Most likely they will drop the iphone 13 from the lineup.
Pro in Apple marketing means the best we can offer on hardware at an Apple reasonable price.

They just call it 14 NOT to drop the price and the "iphone 13" will be removed from the list and not having the price dropped

Price cut and high inflation do not equate with Apple’s margins. 😜
I'm still using my 11 Pro Max, and at this point Apple would have to include some amazing new innovative whiz-bang feature for me to consider upgrading to the 14 series.
Instead this year I've put money into the Mac side of things. I got myself a Studio Display and associated hardware to make an awesome workstation at home for the Macbook Pro that work issued me. I'm loving it while my 11 Pro Max still works amazingly well for everything I do on it.
