From Apple:

"With 80% Limit enabled, your iPhone will occasionally charge to 100 percent to maintain accurate battery state-of-charge estimates."

Maybe that's the culprit?

🤔

Is this what are you talking about? I saw last night iPhone charged to 100% and after reach 100% stopped charging and started draning ;)

I still find this the best new option on the 15 Pro and can only hope they bring it to other devices as well.
I'm also wondering at what cycle count other users are. I'm only at 22. I guess that's because he's at the charger 90% of the time.

Mine continued to be warm in the morning when I took it off the charger until I rebooted it. Must have been something in the update but I will reboot my phone after all updates for now on. Thanks all!

Needs one for iPad and Apple Watch, but they likely won't because the battery is not replaceable in those units at Apple Store but to get the entire unit 😂. They need to make money on the units.
