stuff happens outside of Apple's control. Bluetooth and wifi have inherent limitations. Batteries also have limitations.

Does "just works" mean that 100% of every customer who buys an iphone will never have a problem, ever? Of course the answer is no.

My opinion is your use case is sufficiently narrow and apple wants to push portless.

If mine is an argument by extremism yours is an argument by anecdote. The fact that you have problems doesn’t mean it doesn’t just work.

Macs used to be for creative types. Creative people don't stick to the well worn use cases. The people that do, buy Windows.
