Wow....UPS is screwed up! I within the past hour was notified by UPS that due to some circumstance (of unknown type) both of my iPhone 15 Pros will not be delivered until MONDAY. Even though the tracking number indicates it is 7 miles from my home. Customer Support is useless. They said I cannot pick them up. What the ?

UPS is pretty bad. However, I don't think that UPS/FedEx let you pick up a package until the first delivery attempt is made (unless you've already specified in the app that you want it dropped off at ab authorized shipping/delivery facility).

So much for "Global Express" delivery. I'm sure they were required by Apple to hold onto them until today just for the release. But, my question is why they can't make up for THEIR error or problem by getting them out on Saturday.

That, I don't understand. UPS delivers on Saturdays around here, although maybe Apple has it set to deliver only on Weekdays.

That may well be the case. I actually just returned home after going to the Main Service Center. I was able to speak to a manager who is hopefully going to help get them to me tomorrow morning.

Saw the same thing two years ago w iPhone 13 pro; shipping estimates showing 4-6 weeks out on launch date. Then I went into best buy a week after release and just bought it in store. This trick is getting old Apple.

For everyone who thumbed me down or didn't believe, here's a followup exactly a week later after the release. My exact model is available for pickup in all nearby Apple stores, as well as nearby carrier/retail stores. It's clear that Apple routinely limits its own website inventory, presumably in order to hype up a release.

I wonder if they try and drive customers into the stores for impulse buys and cases or other accessories.

Checked yesterday the in-store availability of an iPhone 15PM 256GB, found it, paid it, walked in the store in the afternoon and picked it up.

All of this while people that ordered the same iPhone days ago still have to wait days and days for the delivery.

Unless you live far away from an Apple Store, I still prefer this way.

Great phone BTW and it didn’t warm up at all during the data transfer and setup.
