2. double click
3. triple click
4. long press

no doubt they'll make it possible, but lock it out by hardware revision over the course of 4 years of iterations.

Only gets that capability when it’s Ultra and is a very special shade of orange.

Friend of mine pointed this promotional image out to me the other day, and I find it pretty amusing given that the "check out what we can do!" promotional image features a very-machine-translated-sounding translation into Japanese, that winds up sounding less like an order at a coffee shop and more like "could you pass me a latté?"

Yeah but it’s better served to have Apple’s Translate App have the same control centre api to run in the background lien Shazam does. This way:
It can translate on the fly,
Translate recordings already taking and played back,
Res time conversations and list dialogue for later when you jump to a non audio playback track.

Bonus: like Shazam it could do a 30 second recording to playback (Shazam will or user to do this if a song was not recognized)

It's great to see that the image used in this article has incorrect katakana for 'latte' (should be ラッテ) and the translation result is wrong too. That's how you ask someone is they want a coffee rather than asking for yourself.

You only need to say ラッテおねがいします when asking for a latte.
