It's Friday, September 20 in Australia and New Zealand, so customers in those countries who pre-ordered an iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, or AirPods 4 are starting to receive their device deliveries.

Apple fans who ordered a new product are sharing photos and first impressions of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4 on Instagram, Reddit, the MacRumors forums, and other social networks. If you've already received one of the new devices, let us know in the comments below and make sure to share pictures and your initial thoughts!

With no retail stores in New Zealand, customers in Australia are the first to be able to pick up new devices or purchase an iPhone in an Apple Store. Available in-store stock in Australia will provide insight into what we can expect in other Apple Stores around the world, but so far, there have been no rumors of shortages.

iPhone 16 Pro orders did sell out during the pre-order period, and online shipping estimates now range into October. If you missed pre-orders, you can likely get one of the new devices at an Apple Store or a nearby location like Target, Walmart, or Best Buy.

Following New Zealand and Australia, sales and deliveries of the new iPhone 15 models and the new Apple Watches will begin in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and finally, North America. Many Apple Stores worldwide will be opening up early at around 8:00 a.m. local time to allow customers to pick up reserved devices and make walk-in purchases.

Make sure to stay tuned to MacRumors, as we'll have a hands-on and unboxing tomorrow, followed by deep dives into the feature set of the new devices, camera comparisons, and more.

Desert Titanium back looks like a blush pink. Shame but better than nothing for gold lovers.

Hopefully the 17 Pros will offer the polished titanium like the Series 10 AW in a rich gold.
Honestly, the new Apple Watch Rose Gold looks much more reminiscent of the older iPhone rose gold colors that I really loved; I couldn't tell if Desert Titanium was intentionally beige or had any pink in it at all, so I went with white, lol: Won't matter because almost the entire phone will be inside a folio case.

I guess they should make it an option for people who wanted. But polished titanium makes more sense for a watch because you’re not touching the edges as much and won’t smudge it as easily.

You know majority of people have never gotten the new iPhone on launch day 🤷‍♂️

I used to have a buddy that worked at an AT&T retail outlet. It was Cingular until AT&T bought them out. For years he’d set one aside for me on launch day. That was way back in the day when you’d still get long lines on launch day. I’d roll right in and he’d hook me up. He’s long since moved on from that job and I’ve moved on from AT&T as my carrier but those were fun times. 😃

I’m passing on the 16 this year because I have a 15 Pro so there’s no need for an upgrade just for Apple Intelligence but I may upgrade next year.

Just received my 16 pro and it's being setup so I can't send photos right now. I'm coming from a 13 Pro.
First impressions:
- The thin bezels are definitely noticeable, specially coming from a 13 Pro. That was my first wow moment.
- The extra screen size isn't immediately noticeable, but also looking at both phone side to side it's hard to say which one is bigger. So that speaks of how much thiner the bezels are.
- Despite the similar weight, the distribution than many people mentioned on the 15 last year is definitely appreciated.
- I got the natural titanium, and the colour is ok, but boring as expected. I like that it matches my AWU.
- I'm still not sure if I'll get a case or not. But I've had that internal conflict for years. 😂 I do love how it feels in hand.
Can't say much more for now, but I'll post pics once my 13 is done transferring the data.

Congrats!

How is the weight difference between the 13 pro and the 16 pro?
